Kaanapali Ocean Inn

Old and run down, furniture in the room is beat up and in poor condition, no elevator. There are coffee stains and newspaper transfer on the nightstand. They charge 35/day to park. To PARK. Do you know how ridiculous that is!?

DO NOT stay here. The building is super run down and dirty. Our carpet was so dirty it made our feet dirty. There were cockroaches in the room - one crawled out of our coffee maker. The beds were not comfortable at all, and the towels were thin and old looking. We were shocked at what a bad experience this was given how much we paid. We are not fussy people but this place was just dirty, gross and run down. We left early and went somewhere else. We didn't even talk to management; it's clear by the amount of bad reviews that things are not being addressed. And the noise from the nightly luau was distracting to say the least. Do yourself a favor - stay somewhere else.

The hotel resort was a perfect getaway for my wife and I last week. Our room had a stunning view of the beach and we were able to take advantage of all the activities offered at the resort. We particularly enjoyed the beach which was steps away. The staff was friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. We highly recommend this hotel resort for an unforgettable experience!

We enjoyed the room. Beach and access TERRIFIC! Walk out of unit straight to beach. Area very nice, clean, beautiful. Room issues more run down than pics on web, only one chair on porch, sliding door wooden covers only one opened, shower too small water hits in face and can't get in without water in your face, safe broken. Staff responded quickly to things they could fix but don't really want to deal with it on vacation.

The Ocean Inn is old and run down. We were very upset with our accommodations for the price we paid !! We complained to the young man at the front desk, Kainoa, at the Royal Kahaina. He was very polite and he put us in a much nicer room

Horrible. Do not stay here. We needed a last-minute hotel due to our flight being delayed so we booked this Inn for the night to save some money. Bad decision! Ants crawling on the counter, sand in the shower, mold on the ceiling of the shower, weird smell, super uncomfortable bed, and very loud. Just spend the extra money and stay away from this place.
