i really didn’t like anything the bathroom sink wasn’t drawing the bed was really uncomfortable the tv was not working

Terrible housekeeping and attitudes of employees. My bathroom was dirty. I requested politely for a housekeeper to come up to my room. Front desk was rude. No housekeeper came to clean my dirty mirror and sink. The whole room was disgusting.

Great view. Room accommodations were worn (coffee maker broken , screen torn and mattress worn. Luau was load but brief. View and location were great

Our room was a little dated but it worked just fine! We were right outside where the luau took place and enjoyed watching that! The amenities were great. Beach was FABULOUS! Snorkeled, swam, ate good food! Breakfast buffet was definitely worth it at Royal Ocean Terrace Restaurant. Would definitely stay again!!

The property has an ambiance of old Hawaii, but definitely the hotel is dated. The carpet was dirty, and the bath toels are old and dingy.

When my wife and I arrived, we were very disappointed with th condition of the room. It did not appear anything like the photos in the advertisement.

Read all other reviews, do not book here! Don’t know where to start….no lift, disgusting corridors, room was like stepping back to a 70s crack house, dirty carpets, soggy beds, bird pooh on the balcony, mold in bathroom, mold on ceiling, broken tiles in shower, loudest air con ever so could not use! Ants, yes ants crawling all over bathroom and units, we told reception and they weren’t interested as we weren’t stopping at their other nicer hotel onsite! The response you get from the hotel of “our rooms are priced accordingly” is insulting! We paid $1200+ for 4 nights and to rub salt in the wound we were charged $40 per night to park….joke! Can’t believe hotels.com actually sell hotels like this, do they not read reviews?

We anticipated this place would be ‘average’ standard but was far worse Than could imagine. We booked king room and got a twin (we’re on honeymoon..!) Our 3rd floor room had ants everywhere - reception did come and spray but left all the dead insects over every surface. Mold on shower ceiling and down the wall, and broken taps and cracker floor tiles. Old sunken mattress Missing balcony furniture $35 + tax to park your car Noisy rooms - above the nightly Luau (another one to avoid). Beach okay and hotel property grounds are lovely.

Do not Stay here! Headboard coming out of the wall. Shower old and dirty, mold on ceiling, musty smell. Small fruit flies everywhere. Sad as the view and property are amazing. The sound of the Ocean was magical. I was ok with old but this is the worst place I have ever stayed in and they want to charge me resort fees! It has such potential!

Very very outdated and everything was falling apart, molding and lots of tiny bugs and ants crawling all over the walls of the inside of our room! We also didn’t like that we had to pay for amenities for Royal Lahaina and we didn’t even use them. Otherwise the bedding was clean and the area was nice to walk around.
