Awesome property w/ awesome staff

It was painfully obvious that the service staff did not want to be bothered or even understood a request. I overheard numerous people out raged by poor or no service. Ours was the same. Building was crumbling. Luau until 10 pm but no mention of this in booking info and that it was just out side your door. No laundry service. Machine was broken. Restaurant way too expensive for scrambled eggs and bacon. Going to do all I can to discourage others from using them. Thinking of reporting to chamber of commerce and county sanitation.

Considering how much they charge, serious time to spend money on renovation. It looked the same 20 years ago.

The location is superb. I had an issue with the safe and when I called the front desk nobody answered. I had to go walk 150 meters at 11 PM to see he lobby. My room was not cleaned until 4:30 pm the first day. Not enjoy enough power outlets, old dirty safe, etc. Overall, it was OK, but The I expected more for the price I paid. But the access to the large beautiful beach was outstanding.

Not worth your money. No elevator, poor service, room was not maintained, everything is so old, very uncomfortable

KOI building is extremely run down and in a very poor condition. Carpet was dirty and disgusting. Bathroom door was broken and hanging on by a thread, the shower curtain was small and water was not contained in an extremely small shower space. Bed was sagging and we could feel the springs of the mattress. Loud luau going on just outside the room. When we asked for compensation they offered to take resort fees off ($40). With further details they offered to take parking fee off. Parking fees are $30. Wi-fi service and reception was extremely poor. We asked for a room upgrade. Manager offered fees refund or room upgrade, not both. We were told this was their “economy” building in the area with “lowest” prices. Manager himself had nit been in the building to know the situation and the condition of the building / rooms, in his own words. We were extremely disappointed with the condition of the service and the quality of the room for the amount we paid. We wouldn’t recommend staying at the koi building at this property. Show less

The Front desk gave a room much later than the checkin time. And when we get the room, the Luau event is blasting through the walls. There is now room cleaning service despite charging arms and legs. The front desk person was condescending. Maybe because of my country origin. On top of all these, you have to pay $30 per day for parking. Want to have a bad experience, go ahead and book.

The hotel doesn't have a working hot tub. There isnt a staff that is willing to make your stay the very best and memorable. The cleaning staff are very nice and kind. I would have spent more money and go somewhere else next time. I dont believe the RL creates a memable experience for there guest. The resort next door, har cookie decorating, holiday lights up, coffee every morning for there guest and the RL, doesnt do that same. They need to organize rooms, where if a guest would like to have a late check out they can. The RL didnt offer this to us.

I have stayed here many times and this stay was as good as all the others Except the boys working at the pool towel/ sports area they were more interested in watching their phones then looking after guests very disappointed in them

The hotel is unfairly priced for the service that you get. We spend over $300 for one day. The room we requested was king bed but we got 2 small beds instead. Originally on reservation we had 2 people but they charged $40 fee a day for the second person on top of original price. They have hotel fee on everything including parking and more than one person in a room. For $22 buffet per person we got 5 options of food which was horrible and I’m not a picky person. Overall, for this price it’s not worth it. This hotel is a scam.
