Hangzhou Hua Chen International hotel

It is in heart of Hangzhou City. There are bus stops, restaurants and shops at door steps. Hangzhuo Train station and West Lake are within 3 to 4 kilometers. However, I found taxi drivers reluctant to take me there since it tends to have heavy traffic jam in rush hours. The room we booked is very small, with only one queen bed and hardly any room left. The facilities look little dated and need upgrade. It is central air-conditioned and comfortable in summer. Will stay again in future but would choose a larger room.

Everything was great except wifi connection was bad in the room otherwise I will give this hotel a 5. There is a 24hour restaurant just right opposite the hotel which is excellent especially we arrived hotel almost midnight without dinner. We were very thankful that there is 24 hr restaurant just opposite the hotel. Breakfast was great too and location is great with just 10-15mins walk to Jinjihu and shopping area. The first 2 nights stay were good with big rooms but the return last night stay was much smaller room.

The hotel services were great. The location of the hotel is located in the city center and close to the West Lake.

Good hotel -- room was tight (single queen), but adequate. Breakfast buffet had many options (many cuisines, including traditional chinese, american, etc.) and was good. Elevator was fast. Staff were helpful, but English understanding was limited (everything went fine, just took some effort). Taxis were called via the staff's personal phones -- seemed odd, but probably normal for China. Pickup was at the bus stop in front of the hotel. Short walk to metro, bus, etc. Taxi fare from East Train Station ~50 yuan in traffic and 30 yuan with no traffic. Few minutes walk from the (very!) expensive shopping district and the walking path around West Lake. It was raining while I was there my room was very humid!

booked this hotel as a treat as i normally stay in very basic hotel chains. Was very disappointed with a smelly and mouldy dated smokers room, after complaining about my first room I was given another room which wasn't so mouldy but the bed was rock hard. I wished I hadn't bothered and stuck to my normal hotel so I checked out again. Didn't even want to stay.

It's an excellent hotel with a very good buffet breakfast. In 50m from hotel there is a city bus #4 that goes to Songseng Theme Park (CNY 2).

nothing was comfortable with this hotel. Very poor front management who careless whether you come or go. The Front line managers are rude and not good hospitality managers, especially the duty front office reception guest manager on duty 29th February afternoon. Certainly, I would not recommend to Hangzhou visitors

The hotel was very nice and in a good location. Very close to the Metro. The room was comfortable and the buffet breakfast in the morning was tremendous - great selection and on the 19th floor overlooking Hangzhou.

Good. The night market is just around the corner. Place of interest like Westlake and Song City are about thirty minutes distance. You can easily get a cab through and fro the hotel.
