Hangzhou Hua Chen International hotel

It was an amazing stay! Hotel pays particular attention on details. Intentional branded equipment, weighing machine, shoe horn, polish etc.. It's all the small detail that makes a great service.

Got upgraded to administrative suites but at 3rd floor which is noisy. Finally switched to a standard room due to lack of queen bed rooms.

The location and cleanliness of the room was awesome. Close to main street, malls and metro. The only bad thing was that the air conditioning was not working properly. The room was very warm despite it being <10 degrees outside. Apart from that, a great value-for-money hotel.

Breakfast is good and is located at 19 floor with stunning view of West Lake. Room bed matteress is too soft. Had body aches just after one night. Staff were friendly and helpful, however could not help with the soft bed.

Very nice hotel. Very modern. Room may have been just a bit small, but entirely adequate. Breakfast was good. Nice views from the breakfast room on the top floor of the hotel. West Lake is very nice and very close by.

Good location and good clean room. A really good variety of mostly Chinese breakfast on the 19th floor buffet with a view. WiFi wasn't working just in my room (My friend's room's Wifi was working). However, the main problem was with their air conditioning. They claimed it was cool outside so the building's central AC is turned off and no way of turning it on. My room thermostat shows a constant 28.1C, but at least the hotel gave me electric fan to have it blown at me while I sleep.

Great location, 10 minutes walk to the lake, convenient shopping access, kind locals. Hotel service was decent.

Great location and very helpful staffs

Comfortable stay with great view at the 19th floor during breakfast whereby you can see the Westlake. The staffs are so helpful and friendly.

Close to shopping streets; West Lake and other spots. Modern rooms and good view over either town or West Lake. The only problem was that most of the staff did not speak any english at all, and as a foreigner you might feel uncomfortable due to this communication problem. The staff that spoke some english only understood matters related to ordinary hotell affairs (check in/check out/order car), so don't expect to talk about anything else. But in my experience this is not unusual at all in Hangzhou, so just go for it. I stayed at another hotell for a couple of weeks in Hangzhou, which was 'International', but they knew even less english.
