The Holbrooke Hotel

My stay at the Holbrook Hotel was absolutely wonderful. The staff was amazing, friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout the entire visit. We stayed in the king suite with the exposed brick wall, and it was stunning. It’s such a unique space with so much character. The room felt warm and inviting, and the bed was incredibly comfortable, making it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. Everything about the hotel felt thoughtfully designed and welcoming. The bar area was especially inviting and had a great atmosphere. My friend and I had dinner at one of the small two-person tables set right in the large open window. Sitting there with the fresh air, great food, and the lively energy of the hotel created the perfect setting for a great night. I tend to go to placed that are visually stimulating, and this hotel truly checked every box for me, from the architecture and décor to the overall ambiance. It’s one of those places that feels both beautiful and comfortable at the same time. I would absolutely stay here again.

The room was nice, but very small. Having the temperature control at the front desk and serving the entire floor based on a thermostat out in the front hallway isn't great. Staff was very nice about adjusting it; however, I don't care to ask for adjustments knowing other guests are sharing the same system.

We have stayed several times. We like the upgrades to the hotel since the current owners took ownership. The rooms are a little at the higher end of the price range, for similar hotels, but still a good value. The taxes and fees are a bit steep, when added to the room cost. Staff were friendly and rooms were clean. Maintenance items need to be in check, i.e. routinely check heating and air and sink drainage, etc.

Dinner tasted great; however, it was extremely COLD. Speakeasy bartender was more interested in conversation than working the room and serving drinks. Coupons were issued at check in, but I forgot about them until check out. I asked if they can be applied to the room fridge beverages we consumed and was told no. Would not go here again.

The Hotel staff was welcoming and helpful. She went out of her way to make us feel comfortable in the Hotel and shared interesting information regarding the Holbrooke. The Bar accommodated our requests and was knowledgeable regarding the food menu. Such a pleasant experience. We will return!

Best hotel in 50 miles. On site restaurant and bar also very good. Friendly accomodating staff, hip remodel respectful of the history of the building. Tastefully done and greta attention to detail.

My husband and I got away for one night at the Holbrook for his birthday and we had the best time. The room was so comfortable and clean. We enjoyed the soaking tub, the view of the courtyard when it snowed the next morning, and the hospitable dining/lounging area with a roaring fire. The staff were all so kind and helpful. Despite diminished staff numbers on the snow day, the service and food in the Golden Gate Saloon were totally on point. We have no complaints!

We stayed in the annex. Nice comfy bed, smallish room and bathroom, but not too small. My only requests are chairs and maybe a table for back porch, and towle bars where needed, in bathroom, and near sink for washcloths. All the staff were friendly and went out of their way to make you feel welcome.
