Hotel Belmar Galeria

I recently spent 21 nights at the Belmar and I will be back ! The staff were friendly and helpful and kept my room spic and span clean. Often I was greeted by name on my return to the hotel. The room is sparse but the bed is comfortable, the TV and Wifi worked, the room has a safe, the overhead fan kept the room cool but I had an AC unit that worked if needed. The hotel is quiet and is near everything. I go to PV to be out and about so I do not want to pay for hotel amenities I will not use. The Belmar was everything I look for and friendly and professional care to boot. Thank you Belmar for making my visit another positive PV experience.

Check in was the only issue. Otherwise location and room was wonderful. I’ll definitely recommend and book again :)

I liked the hoel for the price and location to where I was going to see the view of the city and the staff all were great and friendly and spoke English which I liked a lot and I deffently would come back to this hotel for the locationa nd price many thank to you all and thank you for your help when I was vacationg there much appreciated

The beds are not comfortable. The mattresses are not supportive. It was like sleeping right on the springs. The windows do not block any of the street noise. From early in the morning until late at night you can hear the traffic, loud music, horns, etc. Very difficult to get a good night's sleep.

It is very close to beach area and right in the old downtown area, full of cobblestones and traffic. Even though construction was going on next door which appears to be part of the hotel in the posted picture to the right, it did not disturb us. Staff was very pleasant and helpful. When we did a lot of walking, it was a pain to walk up to the 3rd floor, which is really the 4th floor.They do have morning coffee and cookies. Oscar, the afternoon front desk clerk was very helpful

We stayed at the hotel for 10 days in February. The first room we were given was so small and cramped. There was a double bed situated in the corner. That would mean that one person would have to climb over the other person to get out of the bed. The bed was not comfortable, it was hard with little or no padding on the top. There was no place in the room to place a suitcase that would be out of the way. I would not have booked something that looked like this online. When I checked the online pictures, their pictures looked nothing like this room. I went down to the front desk and asked if I could upgrade to a larger room. The only room that they had available was a room with 5 beds that sleeps 8. I paid the additional cost for this room so that we had some space. The two problems with this room was the street noise and the beds. It was like there were no windows in wall. (There were gaps between the window frame and wall.) . You could hear everything that was happening on the streets. Beginning every morning around 7am until late in the evening until around 1am you would hear lots of traffic rumble over the cobblestone roads that surround the building. You would hear cars drive by with loud music blaring, honking their horns, or with bad mufflers. There are lots of loud buses and trucks that travel this main street. You would hear people yelling on the street. Coupled with the noise was the poor quality of the beds. This room had 5 beds and they all lacked proper padding above the springs. There was zero support, you could feel every spring. I have had noisy rooms and uncomfortable beds before, but this place takes the cake. We were in so much pain by the end of the trip that we needed to see our chiropractor and massage therapist when we got home. I should have paid the extra few dollars (pesos) and booked a different hotel.

Good value for the price. Central location

Hotel is convenient to the beach and all local Zona Romantic attractions. Old, rooms are small and outdated, but such a great price. Wifi was awful.

Great, friendly, perfect location, clean, safe. Small room, but cold drinking water in hallways, and small fridge and great air conditioning, and hey, it's very affordable. Only drawback, no elevator, many stairs. But I needed the exercise, so it was fine.

Clean friendly staff enjoyed our stay will be staying there next year
