Very sad looking hotel. In need of a major renovation revamp. The room needed a lick of paint. But the worst, the toilet seat was broken! The towels were threadbare. I think you might get fluffier towels in prison! Around the lagoon was fine. But again felt sort of neglected. NOT a five star experience as promised

Wonderful place to relax, rejuvenate and come back to your desired state of mind and body. You’ll be surrounded by lush, vegetation, and flowers. If you are a bird lover, many birds to watch. If you’d like to fish, bring a fishing rod. Spa services are excellent. Great place for couples and families. The pool was absolutely refreshing.

A magical complex. Semi detached villas which look out onto an internal lake. Birds sweep over the complex, two semi circle paths allow easy access to villas via a buggy track - linked by a footbridge (with no lift). The rooms are a little basic in decor and I’m sure that will be upgraded soon paint, electric and cleanliness wise. Still privacy at the top of priority there is a secret doorway from the shower to an outside courtyard to another shower. Really a beautiful resort with fantastic team running all aspects of the departments.

Artistic setting of hotel , with luscious landscape is eye pleasing ! They have maintained the exterior well ! Service staff are polite and helpful ! However don’t get fooled by that ! Most of the amenities listed in hotel website is not provided ! It was disappointing: No yoga ! No morning nature walks ! No evening cultural programs! No fruit tray in your room ! Bicycles are old and rusty, staff does not help you to adjust the seat heights, hotel does not provide helmets ! Rooms need renovations , wooden furniture and moldings are chipping ! I recommend to look at the alternative options !

The atmosphere here is amazing, and the greenery is simply stunning! The shikara ride on the lake was fantastic, and the food quality was top-notch 😊. If we come back to Kuarakom, we'll definitely stay at Zuri!

Absolutely Unacceptable Violation of Privacy – "The Zuri Kumarakom, Kerala Resort & Spa" Horrible Experience We had booked the Presidential Pool Villa at "The Zuri Kumarakom, Kerala Resort & Spa", expecting a premium, private experience. What I received was a shocking breach of trust and dignity. While Guest was enjoying the pool inside the Room, hotel staff entered the room using a master key—without permission, without emergency, and without any justification. No matter how many times they claim to have knocked, entering a guest’s room uninvited is a blatant violation of privacy. This wasn’t just careless—it was outrageous. To make matters worse, when this was reported to the Duty Manager, Mr. Santosh , his response was dismissive and arrogant. He casually stated that the hotel had “no issue” if Guest pursued legal action. Is this how a luxury resort treats its guests? Guest checked out early, deeply disturbed and disappointed. The Zuri Kumarakom failed not only in service but in basic human decency. Guest will never return, and strongly advise others to think twice before trusting this property with your safety and privacy.
