The Zuri Kumarakom Kerala Resort & Spa

Our main objective in coming to The Zuri was rejuvenation through Ayurvedic treatments. However, we received so much more than that, thanks to the unparalleled service and warmth of the people here. We no longer see them just as staff; we consider them our extended family. We have faced significant health challenges recently, including heart and back surgeries. Without a doubt, this resort has been pivotal in our recovery. The targeted treatments have meant that many of our ailments have been eliminated or significantly diminished. Beyond the people, the Lime Tree Restaurant provided exceptional dining. From fresh fruit and healthy yogurts to fresh fish, lobster, and giant prawns, as well as international and North Indian dishes—everything was delicious. We cannot praise Executive Chef Boban and his team enough. Finally, the management team, led by General Manager Sarat Vasraj (whom we have known since 2010), is the sole reason we return year after year for extended periods. The unique service culture Sarat has cultivated surpasses anything we have experienced in our worldwide travels. He is to be highly commended for this. As long as this incredible standard continues, we will plan our return!

My decision of choosing Zuri Kumarakom for the destination wedding of my daughter was the best one! Each of the guest was awestruck by the background of the vembanad lake location, ambience, natural beauty and peace of the property, impeccable service, awesome tasty food and comfortable rooms. Special appreciation for Mr Boban Thomas, Executive Chef, each of the meal for the three days was a different one, with the best on the wedding day Sadhya style. Guests from different places over the world had the same appreciation. The resort manager Mr Santosh was ever available to take care of any request and supported in every possible way. I would like to thank Mr Sooraj who worked with me for a year as we planned the wedding and every time cooperated and helped solve concerns. Overall memorable experience for the entire group for three days! Thankyou the team at Zuri!

Fabulous experience Had a wonderful time Highly recommend All the staffs was very good.

We loved the location in a Kerala backwater and after a busy time touring southern India had two days of relaxation here. The resort is well kept particularly the gardens. There were a few things that need updating but on the whole nothing major. The restaurant was very good with a wide range of cuisine and whilst the service was at times a little slow we were in no hurry and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We made use of the Spa which I would thoroughly recommend. I had an Indian head massage and a foot massage with Nikitha both of which were wonderful. The hotel offers tea and biscuits at 4.30 ish and we also had a lovely boat ride. Oh and the laundry service was excellent. I would definitely recommend

Hotel is a five star, but I would rate the rooms at 2 star. Hotels bedrooms are very dated. There are lots of leak in the bathrooms. Television does not work. After complaining, they did a temporary stop, but it started leaking next day and the television never worked. The atmosphere outside is good. I would rate their spa is very good and food is excellent.

The stay was very good the rooms are good but the food is not up to the mark. There is very limited buffet options and the service is quite late in the restaurant.

Spent 3 days at Zuri for an event with friends and family and the experience was unanimously described as very good, the location, staff, food everything.Zuri is a spacious resort having total 72 rooms/cottages/villas,there are 10 pool villas,28 cottages and the rest are rooms.Carts ferry guests within the resort, which is located about 2.5 hours from Kochi airport.Thank you all at Zuri.

The spa staff and the lagoon staff were amazing ! The activities offered were good! The location is good. The breakfast was really good - good spread.

The private villa looked great but there was no electricity in most area expect for the bedroom - because of that all night we couldn’t sleep as it was very hot . Whenever the electricity came (which would come after we repeatedly called the reception and they sent someone to fix it) it will only last 20 mins and will go off again. And even the 20 mins of electricity the AC in the main area wouldn’t change from 27 degree Celsius . Though I would change it to 18 it changes back in few seconds. Miserable sleep. When we ordered club sandwich they asked us if we want chicken or veg , we said chicken. After almost 40 mins of waiting he rings us and says that they don’t have chicken so he has billed for veg sandwich . We said we didn’t ask for that so we don’t want that. He kept saying but he billed it - which is crazy to think because why would you decide what we should eat. Then we said we want something that’s chicken so let us know what you have and will choose that. Then after another longgg wait the order came - the bill showed Veg sandwich but he made chicken club sandwich - honestly not sure what he did.
