Park Royal Homestay Club Cala Puerto Rico

We liked the rooms, it was great having a kitchen and washer and dryer in the unit! It felt super safe there and it was nice having a small beach that was really close. Loved having the pools on the property and the staff did a good job accommodating our large group. They had a few events for guests like free hot dogs and nachos by the pool that was a nice surprise. We also like that there were a few restaurants and shops on the property that were just around the corner.

It was a little further away from the activities we had planned so we drove a lot back and forth to activities. Wish there had been a couple small rugs just something to wipe sand off your feet with.

Although the shuttle service works well In the gated community, a car is necessary, there is no usable beach ,Although it was nice to get the beach chairs and look at the ocean. The ,music was too loud at the pool sometime and the drinks were pricey. Good food at 5he restaurants in the area. The marina side is peaceful and there are plenty Of nice walks in the neighborhood. The gym costs $15 and is not with in walking distance. There are resort and parking fees which combined for $17 per day which is excessive for what you get..There is Alot of rain and wind on the east side..so I would probably go to the west side if I return to

I liked the si I like the size of the property, but that’s all I liked

Very difficult to get into this property lots of gate the property is smell horrible like sewage the whole time I was waiting for the morning because I just couldn’t stand this smell. It smells like storage. Also there was a very humid smell. In addition there were only two blankets and for some reason that they was super cold. The coffee maker is not working and ultimately it so it’s very expensive for the for what you’re getting.

El lugar estaba hermoso y el trato del personal, siempre dispuestos ha aclarar cualquier pregunta o duda.

Fue solo cuando llegamos que el área de la cocina y sala olían como se alguien recién hubiera cocinado o freido algo... Fuera de ahí todo lo demás estuvo excelente, luego al día siguiente el olor no estaba.

Club Cala is a quiet luxury getaway in lovely Humacao. I highly recommend getting a rental car as this is fairly isolated from the island's main attractions. But the property is lovely and the room was well maintained and clean.

A great place to stay in Puerto Rico with two great pools and two golf courses right next to it. We would come back and stay again.

My husband and I are Royal Holiday members for more than 20 years and for the past 8 or 9 have been staying at this property during Thanksgiving or Christmas. Since 3 or 4 years we have noticed that the maintenance of the villas ir very poor. This time, when we arrived, there was a door that did not open, a sliding door that also would not open (so, we were not able to go into our villa's balcony) and a refrigerator that was not working properly. The food on the freezer was thawing. This should be things that you are able to inspect before the next guest arrives to be able to solve them beforehand. The manager and the maintenance guy that solved these situations were excellent but still this should not happen. This is mainly a management issue. Last year we had anote issue with power outages in Humacao and the hotel not having any back up so that meant no electricity at all for more than 6-8 hours on New Year's Eve. We would love to keep on going back every year, but I think that we might not take the risk next year, which is very bad since Royal Holiday properties in PR are merely 1 or 2. They have a great staff, a beautiful place, the renovations to the lobby are wonderful but they are far from delivering an overall excellent guest experience

Spacious rooms, great location, well maintained location but not the best in upkeep of electrical appliances, courtesy with respect to handing off/ taking back pool towels.
