Park Royal Homestay Club Cala Puerto Rico

This was the worst experience I have had with Club Wyndham/RCI. They could not find our reservation and believe they just stuck us somewhere. It was so bad we checked out the next day and they front desk never ask why or can we do something for you. Later in the week I received a text stating the pool bar would be closed indefinitely. Would not recommennd.

The rooms are huge! The villa has everything you need, kitchen, fridge, glasses, cookware, washer, soap, shampoo, wow everything. You only have to buy the food. Wonderful for large families.

I like everything.

All the facilities are in excellent condition. I have always said that a jacuzzi is needed. Previously, parking for guests was free, and now it is charged at an excessive price. In addition, they should include Copamarina in Guanica again; it has always been their best destination in Puerto Rico.

Very nice place with beautiful areas, pool and restaurants nearby. Golf courses and access to the beach. Very clean full equipped villa and quiet area.

First floor, Garden view… Nice size for family. Pool and activities are a ton of fun. Staff are friendly. Luquillo Beach is 45 min away and is perfect for kids. Pool Bar and food are great. Tostones w/ ajo and fried cheese w/ guava sauce are soo good. Lil pricy but your on vacation. Cons- AC stopped working 1 night, couldn’t sleep, took 6 hrs to get someone out to fix it. Fire Alarm battery kept chirping had to be removed since no one showed up to change the battery. Maintenance is slow to address concerns. $25/day resort parking is ridiculous. $11/ day resort fee is appropriate because they do have activities… bingo, salsa class, water aerobics, DJ at the pool etc. All in all it was a good stay. Not many options in PR for large families. We may be back but will check into other resorts first to compare.

Muy acogedor!

First of all we arrived at night because our flight got delayed, the office is up on a small hill that can be accessed by stairs, then there is no parking at all in front of the office we had to go around the block while my sister went in to do the check in and we are both knee replacement recipients and stairs are very difficult for us, a map was not provided to us to show us how to get to the room, we finally found the building which was building A but then there were signs for B and again more stairs to go down to A building, no concierge service at all. Well with luggage, stairs and bad knees, that made for not a good experience right there. We got into the apartment, we had rented a 2 bedroom and 2 bath well we only had access to the one bedroom, the other bedroom was locked, (for some reason) the bedroom that we had access to the light was not coming on, well there goes my sister back to the office. They had to send a maintenance tech to open the locked bedroom and change out the bulb. Meanwhile the car was double parked in the middle of this narrow road. Where all over the place there are signs that vehicle will be towed. I went to park the vehicle that is on another hill and have to walk back to the room, 2 flight of stairs down to the room. Inside the apartment you get what you pay for....very outdated. The last night we were there, we found 2 small bugs, looked like baby cockroaches in the bathroom, I understand all that stuff of being in the Caribbean, pest control can work. I have stayed at Palmas del Mar before not this place but others and this was my worse experience. I would not stay her again.
