Courtyard by Marriott St. Petersburg Downtown

Great location, comfortable stay. Anthony with the Valet was very helpful, along with all the staff! Would love to stay again.

Wanted to keep myself anonymous as negative reviews sometimes make people upset. The valet kid, whose name I was told is “Key” is very unprofessional. He says he’s going to get your car and disappears for a while, or you come out and he’s sitting on the curb, or when you come out to ask for the car and he’s not at their desk or anywhere in sight to retrieve him for assistance. He speaks really too low to understand and you have to say “what” multiple times. I’m not a person to leave reviews, good OR bad. Thanks to Luis the night guy for being so polite without even knowing a bad experience had happened previously, which is how you can tell he is just polite in general, not just to make you feel better. Meeting Heather this morning, she is wonderful as well. We WILL return but we hope the kid from the afternoon shift can get some additional training or supervision to whip him into shape because at this rate, I’m sure he’s going to cost you reviews, business and loyal customers. The inside staff are lovely, and Heather and Luis. We didn’t meet any others but I have high hopes that they’re wonderful as well. We will not let one bad apple spoil the bunch. Also, very nice and clean kept place. Thanks Courtyard!

Brian, April and Luis have been great. Wonderful service, sweet smiles and great recommendations of things to do. Would recommend this to all my family and friends.

I was here on a golfing trip. April assisted me with my luggage. I just wanted to tell her thank you very much for treating us with kindness and respect..April showed us multiple locations to go eat. We were really impressed with the wine place. She sent us to as well as local restaurants.April keep up the great work you are definitely one of a kind you have pulled high standards with evolution and courtyard Marriott. We appreciate you. We thank you for all your help and we will return and we sure hope to see your smiley face.. What struck us the most about April is not only the way she treated us but also the way she greeted us upon our arrival. Amazing job, April..

Had a wonderful stay here. Met the staff at the front desk Brandi, Daniella, Kadeen, Max, all amazing and super helpful and very knowledgeable and customer service facing staff. Huge shoutout to Danielle though! Super nice and stays with a smile and you can tell she likes her job! Then to Bistro staff Elizabeth and the Evening group making wonderful food, drinks. The cleaning and maintenance are friendly and helpful as well. Lastly, valet. Heather retrieved our vehicle for us this morning and it’s cold out so she got it all warmed up for us and our boys. Super friendly and has helped us yesterday and today. She is fast, friendly, knowledgeable of the area and has some great recommendations. If you get the chance to speak to her, 100% do it! The afternoon boy Key is nice but very quiet and not as outgoing. April helped us as well and she was very nice and also knew a lot about local things to do and where to eat. We loved our stay and the Free hot cocoa for the boys was AWESOME. Thank you courtyard, we will return!

Here’s my honest review as promised. Checked out of the hotel with Brandi this morning. She is such a lovely lady with the most contagious smile. Had my coffee from Elizabeth, she makes a great coffee and stayed with a smile also. Then I went to valet and met Heather for the first time and she is just a doll. So kind and helped me load my things, organized them for me so that I could go pick up golf clubs and be able to load them easily without moving things, allowed me to show her the scrap book I was working on for 10 years of my grandson. Between these three ladies my morning was full of smiles and amazing customer service as expected when booking Marriott 😁 Yesterday I got to have April as my valet and wow does Heather look and perform customer service just like her, I thought they were mother and daughter until I asked Heather and she confirmed otherwise! Also got to meet Brian whom Heather confirmed is the valet supervisor when I asked. Sorry to mention him last, but I’m all about some women empowerment and wanted to shoutout the absolutely amazing women with EXTREME power in customer service! The only downside was that the room was clean but not CLEAN. Meaning some hairs on the floor/bedsheets, a few stains, and a footprint in the tub which luckily is all things I was able to take care of! If the cleaners could add a bit more attention to detail, you guys would be 5 ⭐️ from me. Thank you courtyard for the amazing customer service and cozy rooms! I will be back. Happy new year!

The front desk Brandi is so sweet! Valet Heather and Luis, And Key and April and Brian are great! They are all great staff! The bistro Elizabeth in the morning is awesome! I love this place!
