Ghent Marriott Hotel

Hotel is up to Marriott standards. Big atrium lobby. Friendly staff. Room and bed were very comfortable. Room was newly renovated. Close to center and cafes. Did not eat breakfast here since there were so many cafes just steps away. Yes, recommend!

In gent for the weekend Staying at the beautiful grand pillows reylof just around the corner Ghent busy and hot down by the canal Found a table out of the front of the Marriott overlooking the water - really good location to watch the world go by surrounded by lovely architecture Excellent service from Luiz and Omid (I think it was) A few cheeky beers and nibbles in the afternoon sunshine - no complaints :)

Our stay was amazing!! The room was super comfortable as well as the bathroom. The staff were very nice and accommodating and the hotel is like an oasis in an already perfect town. The location is amazing and the area is the best of the best. Totally recommend this hotel and had the best stay!

Wonderful location in the centre of the old city. Room with river view was exceptional.

Great hotel in an even better location. Room was a good size, clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast was brilliant and had a great view of the Gent Canal.

Staff was extremely helpful and polite. The room was clean, and the location is in the middle of everything. Will stay next time we are in the area.

Great spot

We had a lovely stay! It is perfectly located at the heart of the made canal; a historic area. Today, it is a striving street on both sides of the canal and very lively. We are only 5 minutes away from the main square, the Belfort, Stadhuis, and, of course, the Cathedral with the Mystic Lamb. Ghent has an amazing charm and the Marriott staff will make sure that you are well equipped to enjoy this city. The lady who checked us in was friendly and the one that checks us out was genuine and friendly. Thank you so much for your kindnest. The room was of what you would expect of a Marriott, but we found it odd that there were no coffee machines. Good thing we could easily take an English Breakfast tea instead, but the coffee would have been nice. However, the presents offered like the beers and chocolates were a great touch; maybe because of my Elite Status however. Nevertheless, the attention to detail was there. Thanks, again!

This is a beautiful hotel, perfectly positioned in the heart of Ghent. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. A special shoutout must go to Juncal, the front office manager, who was wonderful when we had a noise issue from the room next door.
