SureStay Plus by Best Western Jonestown Lebanon Valley

We asked for clean towels every day and had to leave notes on the dirty towels to leave us more toilet paper and to take the garbage. We even set the trash right next to the dirty towels and they still didn't take the garbage. We have noticed that their clientele is not the greatest. A lot of Mexicans. There were two that came to breakfast every morning with blankets hanging on their shoulders. A woman came to breakfast with sweat pants and a bra on. They have Mexican receptionist at night so she can speak to the Mexicans that come in. The Mexicans stay around 3l days and are gone and then some more come. It's like they hide them for awhile and they leave and new ones come to be hidden. It just doesn't feel safe anymore. We will not stay there again.

The people above was was making noise different hours of the night. The shower didn't have hot water like it usually have .

Liked: Benjamin, the afternoon check-in person is very good at what he does. I found him friendly, efficient, knowledgeable about the area, and courteous. Area is convenient, clean and safe. Breakfast person is very good at keeping the area stocked and refreshed. She is friendly and courteous. Room was clean. Overall a very good stay.

Staff was extremely helpful & curtious. The only major problem I had. I had stayed 4 nights & the maid only came into the room the first day. That was to only change out towels. I informed the front desk & asked for towels & toilet paper. It was happily given to me. I found out at the end of my stay by reading reviews, you had to put towels & trash in the hallway for exchange. I have no problem with this, if I would have been informed. Their was no sign telling this in the room.

Front desk staff incredibly helpful and pleasant. We checked in after 8pm and he was just great; keys worked on the first try, and he explained the facility and where things were. Just fabulous.

Odor in the room that probably couldn't be helped because it was rainy the night we spent there and it was probably just damp-musty, but the room was clean enough.

Do not stay on the 1st floor! The rooms reek of smoke that is in bedded in the walls. The carpet is old and peeling off of the floor. The pool water was green and disgusting. The one bright spot was that the staff were very nice, but I will never stay there again.
