Curtains falling off the rail & bathroom needs a good overhaul

Was not offered breakfast 🤔. Lovely grounds and building but needs refreshing the pictures are clearly years old. Swimming pool and gym fantastic

It needs renovation, the spa is very dated and steam room wasn’t working The main house needs updating the pool table was out of use, and nothing going on in the evening as no restaurant so you have to eat out and the rooms need a massive overhaul, around the building wasn’t great either as unkept and a couple of old benches to sit on it could be so much better

People in corridor there noise at night time . A bit outdated but functional. Windows opening not the best.

For the price it was a lovely stay and the staff were exceptional very friendly

Location to RAF Gosford, great staff very knowledgeable about area if they didn’t know would find out for you. Quiet location heaped in charm and appeal, 300 yrs old.

Very welcoming coming staff, this was our second stay at hotel, very clean and really good staff. Traditional English breakfast was very nice.

Location to Shifnal.

Everything. The whole place is run down and in very poor condition. The facilities listed were in fact absent. No restaurant as listed. No out door seating area, no bar staff, no TV as advertised. Couches in bar area with no jotyom as i fell through it! I upgraded to a four poster room and i wished I hadnt bothered. The whole room was very poor and the mattress didnt even fit the bed! I asked to speak to a General manager who turned ups 20 minutes after checkout time the next day. So needles to say I didnt speak to them as I was heading out to a wedding. We wantec to use the pool but no staff on site and the overall hygiene was shockingly bad. I was furious at the whole experience and asked fir my money back but Jo one even bothered to contact me and I have been waiting for nearly 4 weeks. Do not stay you will be disappointed. The only plus was that Shifnal has some fantastic restaurants and we could easily walk into town for a lovely meal and a drink.
