The Green Park Hotel

Incredible location with fabulous views of Chapultepec. Access to Chapultepec was also very easy, and that's one of the reasons we chose to stay at the Green Park. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious, well maintained, and had a luxurious bathroom. Its located on a busy street, but with closing the french doors minimized the noise--I slept well, and am sensitive to noise. There is an adjoining restaurant with dining in a lovely garden. Dining on the rooftop offered incredible views of the park.

Gave away my room, told me I was upgraded after the fact, reception made it seem like I was inconveniencing then after they rented my room without telling me and expected me to pay for upgrade, supposedly street view is a huge upgrade but they fail to tell you about all the loud traffic noice and expected me to repack and move at that moment. Was asked for $3000 peso hold for incidentals, there’s no mini fridge in the room or anything to consume. Advised reception, answer was it’s for room service, tried to use room service, couldn’t find a directory or was able to reach reception/operator. Phone in the room did not work, Terrance was always closed, same issue with phone, had to take elevator to lobby to ask for help, orders were incorrect half the time. Overall worst experience at a Hotel, they are not the luxury or boutique hotel they pretend to be.

Some of the restaurants said they would be open until 11pm, but when we would show up, they were closed or about to close. Not sure why the staff would not update guests on such schedule changes. This happened at their sister property and the Mexican-themed restaurant on such property. The traffic noise on Constituyentes was significant, not sure why they don't fully seal the balcony doors to reduce the traffic noise.

Excellent rooms, in perfect condition

I came here after walking through Chapultepec Castle for a drink at Nectar Bar. The Bar was very peaceful and although I did not speak Spanish, the staff was incredibly helpful. There was a beautiful view of the park and a live piano player. I decided to stay for the night and I am glad I did. The room was beautiful and the room service was quick and the menu had many choices. In the morning I woke up and had a glass of wine on the rooftop. It felt like being in New York City looking out at Central Park. The room was a highlight but the staff was just as memorable. We had a complementary breakfast in the morning and I ate lunch at the restaurant before checking out. The food was delicious. I highly recommend this place.

This hotel is a stunning hidden gem! This hotel is located directly across the road from the park which has plenty sites to visit. The check in and reception staff are bilingual and are incredibly friendly and obliging. The rooms are beautiful. Classically decorated with gorgeous wooden floors, the hotel has a feeling of quality and comfort. A tip that I’d give is to consider your neighbors. Due to the wooden floors, it is appreciated when other guests walk a little softer than usual and most definitely ladies should only put their high heels on at the door otherwise it can be quite loud. I had a soft neighbor on one side which I did not hear and a neighbor that I heard the entire time. One day she woke up at 05h30 and put her high heels on - it was very loud. I worked while I was at the hotel so really appreciated the office area in my room. It’s lovely and suited my needs. What I most liked was at the end of the day in a busy city like Mexico City, the hotel is so peaceful and tranquil. The breakfast was very odd. There was never anybody else in the dining room. It’s a beautiful room with friendly staff but I did wonder why nobody attended breakfast. If you are after a local breakfast then rather go to the hotel around the back of the hotel which is owned by the same people. The dining area is busier and they offer a variety of breakfasts including local breakfast.

What an incredible experience at a very affordable cost... Amazing hotel with matching service. Quick check in/out. Lots of restaurants and shops all around the hotel. The rooftop restaurant has beautiful views of the cathedral and a government building and the food was excellent. The area is bustling with activity and I was not concerned at all with my safety. I would definitely come back.
