The Cove at Atlantis

A lot was a little off. The room was spectacular. The staff very friendly if not always the most professional. Dinners were generally very good. Property well taken care of. Have been to The Cove twice. The spectacular adult only pool and beachside restaurant were closed due to construction. I should have been notified prior. I would have booked elsewhere. Reception said when I complained that they notified AmEx (booked with) of the construction. Amex says they were never notified. One morning coffee was served cold with heated milk instead of hot coffee with some cream served on the side. Cosmo cocktail one night was shaved ice and I don’t know what. $30 eggs Benedict served cold one morning. Poolside lunch was pretty bad. Minor things like this add up to probably not coming back again.

Amazing. Once in a lifetime. You have everything you want in one place - pools , restaurants, beach, amazing stuff and don’t forget to choose the right building before going

We cannot say enough good things about our time at The Cove Atlantis! Every staff member we encountered was warm, accommodating, and genuinely happy to help. To top it off, the property itself is breathtaking, with beautifully manicured grounds that create the perfect tropical oasis.

Jmac the DJ at the pool didn’t miss a single beat!! Every song was a banger! I had to personally thank him for his work! I told him I hope they pay you a lot and if not you deserve a raise!! I’ve been to many resort pools and never enjoyed the music as much as I did at this particular pool!! if you’re looking for great music and a good time, DJ Jmac is the man😎

Phenomenal all around. This was our twelfth year coming and it was the best. The customer service was what we have always hoped for. The slides were open more, the Cove rooms and amenities great! The restaurants were delicious.

Went Easter Week. Adults only. Two Deluxe+ Suites. Second trip to Atlantis. Royal and now Cove. Had a wonderful time. Based on our two trips and other reviews here's what I think: The Cove is truly the Adult only option. That's why they have other hotels. Many of the negative reviews consistently discuss issues involving children of all ages and elderly. By the way, I'm 69. I promise you will get in your 10,000 steps. Yes, it's ADA compliant but Atlantis is huge and it's not flat; especially the Cove. To get from the Cove to the furthest point (Marina) it could easily take 20 minutes at dinner time. If you stay at the Cove, you will regularly be walking through the casino to get to other places. They designed it this way. They want you passing through the shopping areas. You do not want to be pushing strollers or wheelchairs all day, every day. Random thoughts: If you like a grab and go continental breakfast, light lunch at the adult pool and dinner at 8:00PM or later, this is for you. There is a grab and go continental breakfast in Sea Glass. For whatever reason it's unadvertised. Did two days at adult pool and two days at beach. Loved both. You can always find a chair at the beach, but it might not be the closest beach to your room. You may have to walk a little. Loved the beaches. They were monitoring chairs at the beach. Every hour they did a sweep and recovered chairs that had been "saved". Service at the adult pool was excellent. We went Easter Week so we were in the minority being without children which may have actually worked out better for us. Didn't find the adult pool packed. The is an offsite supermarket and liquor store outside the Coral. Walk our Coral Door and go down to Wendy's. Across from Wendy's is Paradise Market, a liquor store, Dunkin Donuts and Anthony's Ribs. You can also get there from Marina area. Do not promise your children ice cream! Head scratching but there is only one small ice cream stand in Atlantis; a Ben and Jerry's in the Marina. Small store. Mobbed at all times. Be prepared. Casino is smoke free! Sold out restaurants: The App allows you to sign up for a waiting list type option. As people cancel (happens every day) you will be notified of an opening. Worked very well. Water park is not just for the kids. Go and enjoy.

Pool attendants marking free chairs with random stuff so it looks taken. Then when a guest looks for a chair they “sell” them one of the free chairs for a tip.
