Very nice, adult pool was totally shaded. And they had me check in late after waiting there the whole day - supposed to be 4 pm check in , I asked for anything early if possible since I was there at 11 am. And they said they would try - I ended up checking in not even until 445

We chose the cove over the royal to have a more elevated experience. It just did not deliver. The property of course is gorgeous, but the service leaves a lot to be desired. It’s not worth the exorbitant prices you will pay — from $10 for a bottle of water to $20 for four dumplings in a restaurant. Nobu was the best part of the trip—that place is worth every penny

My boyfriend and I celebrated our 3rd anniversary with a stay at The Cove, and it was truly unforgettable. Justin made our check-in experience seamless and went above and beyond with helpful tips that made our stay even better. We also had an amazing dining experience Sun & Ice in the Coral was fantastic, and Fish by Jose Andres was the perfect spot to celebrate on the night of our anniversary. Overall, the trip was a solid 10/10, and we can’t wait to come back soon!

Not even done with our stay and ready to review. For the price, look elsewhere. First and most notable, service is terrible. Staff is extremely rude and their default disposition is annoyed. Begs the question why they choose to work in hospitality if they don’t like working in hospitality. This applies to all properties at Atlantis as they’re all interconnected and we experienced them all during our stay as various experiences and eateries are spread throughout. Please keep in mind we are keenly aware of “typical” American tourists. We are well travelled, speak multiple languages and are proactive with being overly polite to staff. Way over priced—not just due to the current geo political climate. The food is meh even at the pricey eateries. Our room at the cove (supposedly the high end of the properties) had wood paneling falling off the furniture and drains constantly stopped up. Sooo incredibly disappointing. Lastly, while we have children, 5 and 7, this is a small children nightmare. Strollers and newborns abound. And these families treat the place as their own personal diaper pail. Gives more conscientious parents a bad name. We vacation often in Cancun and Cabo San Lucas and both service and value are much better there than in the Bahamas. If you value service and quality, stay away and go to Mexico instead.
