Old, dirty and pool and hot tub out of order

I stayed at this location July 17-20 for my annual casino fix. The location is right off I-35 and, although there's a lot of construction going on, the prices are decent and the quick access to the freeway makes it worthwhile. Additionally, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. The staff/owners are attentive. The breakfast has a few hot entrees, and is just what you need to start your day. The room was large and included a sofa and a desk, small fridge with a microwave and sink. The lobby is welcoming with a large dining area and lobby seating. The exterior could be more welcoming. The grass has given up and maintenance is hit-and-miss. For some reason the indoor pool was not open (in July!). Unsure if that was due to staffing or maintenance issues. The halls smell clean but the placement of open trash cans near the exit on each floor was off-putting and a risk for flies and other vermin. The same cans, without liners, were outside and, while it controlled where visitors put their trash, 100 degree weather is an invitation for the same outcomes as the interior halls. Would I stay here again? Yes! The price, the staff, and the convenience are its appeal.

Beds were comfy and spacious there were clean

Didnt like the breakfest couldve been better, elevator only holds 4 people then pool was indoor but room was excruciating hot couldnt even breath

They gave me a room and when I entered the room was dirty, they hadn't cleaned it yet.

Very clean rooms Beds were comfortable.

The property was safe and clean. We will choose to stay at this location when ever we are in this area
