Comfort Suites Gainesville

This room was not cleaned, no towels in room 2 dirty wash towels in tub with used soap, toilet dirty with poop stains in it, beds looked like someone had just gotten off of them, and yes we complained to night staff that was there, in the morning when we checked out we did not feel like complaining because we were on vacation and we did not want to ruin our moods more. A complete disaster we will never stay there again.

Clean room

The location was fine everything was clean

The hot tub was cold, the pool was warmer than the hot tub. We could never get it to warm up.

Didn't like that the hot tub wasn't available. The credit card reader at check in wasn't working had to manually enter details.

Room was nicely decorated with nice artwork and decor. Furniture was a bit worn but okay. Ice machine on 2nd floor not working. Went to 3rd floor for ice. When the elevator door opened I was enveloped in pot smoke. Quite a party going on in one or more rooms! Freeway construction made access challenging. Friendly staff!

Poorly maintained property. Leaky bathroom in lobby area, one soap dispenser empty & another lying on sink mostly empty. Came back from Winstar and found elevator broken. Had to take my wife to 4 th floor with her bad legs. The outside trash was full & had cigarette butts everywhere in the small grass area. Also found an ant on my bed pillow. Not a good experience.

We picked this hotel because it had a hot tub. It was ice cold and not able to use it. Our room was on the first floor but the ice machine wasn’t working and had to go to the 3rd floor, hole in the carpet and bathroom wall, curtains were hanging off, first room had bathroom shower flooring issues - peeling up. Aside from the terrible maintenance, there were some great things. Lots of breakfast options, variety of movie channels, housekeeping brought new towels each day and tidied up the bathroom and bed. Hotel just needs more upkeep!

second story window was broken directly above the entrance to the left. The broken glass was still on the frame but barely being held by tape. The area next to the entrance was the walkway leading to the smoking area which should have been taped off with caution tape to keep hotel tenants from walking under the broken window. Safety concern.... Also, we were not able to change the channel in our room so we were only able to watch one channel throughout our stay.

TV did not work right everything was old and looked like whoever did the maintenance there had very little experience
