"Excellent winter getaway"

Great property, location is beautiful with easy access to everything we wanted to do. The staff immediately make you feel at home with brownies and a complimentary drink. The breakfast is off the charts. Thanks to Jeanne, Lindsey, Tina, and everyone else.

"Refuse the Rasheeda room."

Only one piece of advice for anyone considering a stay here: refuse to accept room M-24, the Rasheeda room. While it looks nice in the pictures it is entirely TOO SMALL for human habitation; it is very uncomfortable. Otherwise this place is very nice.

Staff is fantastic. Great breakfast, welcome drink, and brownies when we arrived. Bottle of wine in room. Very pretty room.

The bed was uncomfortable. Time for a new mattress. The pillows were awful (were too loose and floppy) so my husband and I had a hard time sleeping.

Very well-appointed rooms.

I was looking forward to the wonderful menu other guests raved abou, but there were had only 2 options (oatmeal or omelet, both nicely prepared) in both days. To be fair, we went during winter/low season and the hotel was far from fullโ€ฆtherefore, it is understandable to offer a limited menu.

Location and sitting areas. Grounds looked great for summer fun.

Bed was well used. Mattress was old. Any hotel/motel bed would be better quality. Pillows old and lacked any shape.

"You get what you pay for"

Breakfast was good but limited variety of items. I did enjoy the quiche. The kitchen personnel was very nice and accommodating. They refilled my cranberry juice. I was glad they had cappuccino as an option.

Small room. Almost no closet. No body cream available in bathroom. I was told how to find the room while I noticed that other guests were escorted to their room.
