Beautiful room, comfy bed, delicious breakfast!

The mattress and pillows need updating. They were very uncomfortable.

The location was very close to hiking places

The room was the smallest room I’ve ever stayed in and falls the advertised. They could’ve described that it was super small

Everything about our stay at The Cornell was perfect. Just perfect. Every staffer we encountered was friendly, helpful and thoughtful. We so appreciated the complimentary cocktail after check-in, as well as the complimentary bottle of wine in our room. The Emily Dickinson suite was spacious, squeaky clean, and bright, with a king-sized bed AND a twin bed option, as well. The fireplace was a highlight of our evenings there. Complimentary breakfasts were remarkable and delicious: different options each day, with attractive presentation and fine waitstaff. (Remember to tip!) The only blip was a (for us) $78 'hospitality fee.' This was an unexpected add-on when I made the reservation months ago. Just be aware that the room and taxes are not all you'll be paying. Maybe this is standard procedure for all Berkshire inns? But we'll return. The Cornell is a gem.

The atmosphere was lovely and the renovation was stylish and creative. The location is excellent in the little historic village of Lenox...it was during the week and an excellent value. It had the best breakfasts of any BandB we've ever stayed at!

The decor was wonderful and the room was terrific. Very comfortable. The little perks, like a bottle of wine in our room, and free cognac tasting in the bar was lovely. And the breakfast was phenomenal.

My only suggestion is that one of the really nice things about our room was the fireplace yet we did not have an opportunity to use it. I would suggest either electric or gas for safety and ease of use.

We had a wonderful time at The Cornell Inn. Our room was beautiful, clean and comfortable. The breakfast offered was delicious. And every member of the staff we interacted with was lovely! We can’t wait to return!
