Superb….

Lovely location in park land. Large room - comfortable bed. Generally friendly and helpful staff.

There was no bedside lighting. There was a switch by the bed but it was all or nothing! No bedside PowerPoint. Luckily I brought an extension cord.

Historic house in beautiful parkland setting in lovely surrounding countryside - potentially ideal as a base for touring/walking. Great breakfast! Pleasantly old-fashioned.

Having arrived late at night, eventually found the main reception down the long drive and taken all my bags in, I was not amused to have to reload them and drive a few hundred yards back up the drive to park somewhere near the allocated room in separate buildings. It was also difficult to find the room in the dark - a map of the site would really have helped. Had it been raining, my experience would have been awful, especially considering a short walk/drive back to the main house for breakfast was also required. In room, an upgrade on some fittings is overdue.

I been at Highfield Park several times and I must say all the staff are super friendly and professional.
