Lovely hotel for a cheap city break. Staff are really friendly and hard working, clean and comfy beds. Great stay overall.

Fantastic staff at Lord Nelson were lovey very friendly and couldn’t help us enough . Ideal location with Limestreet station across the road. Close to all attractions too . A lovely hotel in a fantastic city

Hotel was well located and the staff did there best but were limited in what they could do. They had a hand written sign saying they only took cash payments on Friday and Saturday and I wasn't informed in advance so I only had card payment available. After a uncomfortable exchange I had to write all my card details down to get my room. Although breakfast is free my floor number meant it was pointless as I had to leave before the time allocated. A few broken parts in the bathroom but I could navigate around them. The bedroom was comfy and a had a kettle and TV and cost hangers and it was generally quiet which was nice.

Was exactly what I expected from a 2 star, budget hotel. Tired decor, no frills. Great location, lovely staff, comfortable. Was a bit dusty, but overall good value. Free breakfast, which is rare these days!

I fall in love with the city. Beautiful city with lovely weather and friendly people.

Lovely friendly hotel great location

For the price I would of expected it to be a bit nicer. In my mind the place needs shutting down for 6 months and the whole place having a revamp. Staff seemed nice though. If I’d of paid £30-£40 then I couldn’t really complain, but paying £80 for 1 nights stay then is expensive for the property. I wouldn’t stay again unless it had a revamp.

The hotel it’s self was nice. The staff on check in was helpful however the staff we saw Sunday morning (14.08.22) were extremely rude and quite they used the term to us “now you are just being petty” very appalling behaviour to customers.

Staff were friendly and very helpful. Location is brilliant for central liverpool for the station, theatre and restaurants but the hotel was very noisy both from other guests and external noise and is in need of a major refurbishment. That said the room was clean and tidy which is what you want in a hotel and overall due to its location represented value for money.

Excellent stay all staff were friendly and helpful would definitely recommend and stay again
