Stockwood Hotel

I recently spent two weeks at the Stockwood Hotel in Luton, and had a wonderful experience. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly and the service was great! I highly recommend giving them a try! It was worth every penny! — Wendy Stone

Nothing unique, just a standard hotel room

Friendly helpful staff, very clean and comfortable

Easy check in, ok room, Free Parking. Breakfast could be better, it is only cereal, and bread. Baby beds are 5pounds to rent. Nice staff. Close to Luton.

Comfortable bed small room breakfast nice although it was continental, staff pleasant. Just needs tlc but enjoyed my stay, would go again. Check out o sheas pub down the road brilliant staff and great steak

Parking Faciliaties great, bathroom spacious and clean, great wifi. Beds are a little uncomfortable but not really an issue. Would recommend

Stayed here for one night and found it very clean and staff friendly and helpful. Even managed to buy a bottle of wine at reception for a reasonable price! Although the car park is small; we got a space and there are no extra charges as a lot of places do charge (cheekily I think). In my opinion, very good value and you can walk into the town centre from the location.

Bath towels was full of hairs the hotel should make sure check before they give the room to someone

Having booked on line I wished that I had not paid up front. It's a filthy taty place Blood on the pillows and no exchange. 1 towel between 2 . Floor was sticky and twisted laminate in the bathroom. Shower cubicle was in front of the window with no curtains to shut 1 coffee and 1 tea per room Continental breakfast was another joke Cheap wafer this cheap ham lookalike no breads . Cheap cereals that tasted like cardboard. Diluted milk,apple,orange, cranberry juce . Dirty glasses Coffee was tepid and see through. Cheap children plastic seating and tables in the breakfast room which stank of drain smell. Carpets where sticky Paint work was filthy Water stains all over the place One place that I will never be back to

Priced well for the are but we were in a basement room with a small window. The breakfast was very basic. Coffee was vile and the tables and chairs needed a wipe down before we could start. The toilet/shower room is very small and because we were in the bottom of the property the toilet kept being noisy (maybe pumping water up stairs???). We asked for an extra pillow as the ones on our bed were very thin. We didn’t get it. Also, because our flight wasn’t until the afternoon we asked if we could check out half an hour or so later. We weren’t allowed! All in, not great! We’ll not book again nor recommend it.
