Great place to stay in the highlands

While the property was clean and well-maintained, there are a few things that could be annoyances for those staying here. First, there were 1 or more tour buses that come loaded with visitors every day around 5 pm during our 3-day stay. This made it somewhat difficult to make dinner and breakfast reservations. The restaurant was very noisy due to the number of tour group people. Breakfast was buffet style but good though very busy at 7:30-8:00 am. Second, the biggest problem was the lack of water pressure and hot water on the 2nd floor when the tour group guests took showers or used water, etc. Showering for us was not possible between 6:00-7:30 am. No hot water and not enough water pressure for the shower to work. In the mid-afternoon, before the tour buses arrived, there was plenty of water pressure and hot water. Traveling as a couple, we would stay again only if other options were not available.

Conveniently situated close to main sites in Glencoe.

Sunset was fabulous! My room is clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was yummy!

Charming older property sited next to loch, with gorgeous views of mountains and water. Friendly staff, impeccably clean, spacious room, comfy bed. A very pleasant stay.
