Great atmosphere

The staff were very helpful at the hotel, but the property is very loud. Expect to be woken up by street noise and yelling.

We've stayed here before on our way from the Cancun airport to the ferry for a longer stay in Cozumel. This hotel is a lovely, lovely place. A quiet oasis with a beautiful pool area just steps from the activities of 10th street. Staff is so helpful. We were sorry we couldn't stay longer.

Staff were incredible and helpful. Hotel was very nice and clean - pool beautiful! The photo catches the pool area well. It is nice and quiet until Friday and Sat nights where the bar next door on top of the building starts their music but couldn't hear it in your room. A plus on location, Rooms and service.

This hotel is like an oasis tucked within the very center of playa del Carmen. The most incredible location, with a great staff!

We came here to celebrate my birthday. Charlie checked us in & was very friendly & helpful. Angel helped us with our bags & he was also very friendly each time we saw him. Had a relaxing hot stones massage from Rubi. I would recommend. Fernanda researched & organised an excursion for us. She was very patient while we worked out what we wanted to do. Loved the selection at the breakfast buffet. I wished the hot options were hot rather than just warm. This didn't put me off as it was always tasty. The team in the restaurant kept the coffee coming & the coffee was also very nice. A shout out to Gabriel & Carla who made us feel welcome each morning. The restaurant is actually Ipanema's Brazilian Grill serving amazing food in the evening but I was disappointed that it was the Brazillian grill or eat out. There are loads of eateries nearby but it would have been nice to have a choice. Although Magic Blue is a beautiful & relaxing hotel there were a few things which bugged me (didn't stop us from enjoying our stay). The bar area lacks atmosphere & food is only available there up to 8pm. The gardens & pool area are very well maintained (I loved the landscaping) but the stairs to our rooms & our terrace could have been cleaned better. We were in one of the master suites & there were bird droppings in one corner of our terrace the whole time. We liked our room but repairs looked botched. Shouldn't be given room prices. We enjoyed our stay, the staff made the difference.

In the heart of the action! Beach is a block down, staff is excellent and pays attention to detail! Safe environment and wonderful pool!

An acceptable hotel in the area. Good sized rooms and very friendly staff on check in and arrival. Rooms are tired and in need of a bit of TLC, but otherwise all good!
