Loved hanging out by the pool, it was a bit challenging at times to get a lounger. Spa was incredible & well worth a visit.

Friendly and amazing staff and a very clean and nice pool as well as a hot tub. Breakfasts were very good with a variety of different foods and beverages. Property condition and facilities were OK, but room condition is definitely not up to the standard of 3-star hotel even. My concerns are the following: - Soundproofing in the room is bad, you may hear the night club/street noise and your neighbors - BEDBUGS! My wife was bitten by them during our stay - Dampness in the bathroom and poor ventilation system. Towels were wet all of the time because of that and we had to dry them outside. - The room was not comfortable, 2 beds on the concrete frame instead of regular wood. - I got a bathrobe that was worn by someone else and asked to replace it and it was replaced immediately - Overall the room needed remodeling, looked more like Motel rather than 4-stars Hotel. - Slippery tiles everywhere! Beware coming back after shower/pool - Salty water in the shower

Staff was attentive, friendly and accommodating. The pool and outdoor area was picture perfect. We stayed in the master suite; totally worth it for the huge soaking tub. Made good use of the hammock as well. Great happy hour at the lovely outdoor bar and the breakfast buffet was amazing. Overall a fantastic value. Would definitely return!

Rooms simple but yet elegant. Pool area very nice and not overly done like many resorts. Morning breakfast the best I've experienced anywhere.

Felt like we were in the jungle yet close to the city and convince was a major plus everything in the city was walkable my wife and I really enjoyed the stay!

Great location, in the middle of Playa night life. Geat breakfast buffet. The bathroom is a bit claustrophobic, but the room cozy and big.

Very good hotel! The only problem was with the bread at breakfast.. when it end they said they don’t have more.

Had a wonderful stay here at Magic Blue with my fiance last week (october 2019). I love the fact that each room has a front deck with a hammock to lay in, a nice added touch to the oasis ambiance the hotel strives to provide. We also enjoyed the included breakfast in the restaurant next door (entry to the outside seating area from the hotel). breakfast was great! The only two complaints we have was the inconvenience of having to book out spa massages at separate times (1 hour apart each), which left us cancelling the appointment because the point was to experience the spa together. Also, after our first night, the shower and sink water were barely luke warm and sometimes we had to run the shower for 20 minutes to get "luke warm" water. We called maintenance twice, after the second time, the gentleman explained that it was because we are at the end of the water line where our room was specifically located (towards the front of the hotel); So i guess my recommendation would be to ask for a room maybe towards the back end if hot water is a deal breaker for you. Overall, we had a nice stay.
