Excellence Playa Mujeres - Adults Only All Inclusive

The location is great. Beach is very accessible and not crowded. There are a lot of pool options so you have options! The restaurants were ok. The Asian restaurant was the best and the bartenders are really good. TripGuy.com did a great job of booking everything so you didnt have to lift a finger on your vacation or leading up to it.

Playa Mujeres was gorgeous! Meticulously clean beach and pools, attentive wait staff and concierge, and incredible weather. We were so blessed to have Jesus be our concierge both by the pool and on the beach. Anything we needed, he let someone know or got it for us himself! He gave great recommendations and was incredibly entertaining to chat with. Floricel was our waited on us by the beach. His upbeat nature and party attitude and us all having a great time! On the days Jesus wasn’t down by the beach, we were equally well taken care of by Edgar! He has the most joyful smile and kind energy. He could turn any frown upside down! Rubi was our wonderful waitress on these days. She was quick, attentive and knew how to get you what you needed while you relaxed. Our rooms were stunning and meticulously cleaned daily! So much in room coffee, alcohol

this place costs too much, lots of other resorts we visited were alot cheaper and better quality and had more restaurants to choose from and more buffets, this one only had one for breakfast, the other resorts have one for breakfast, one for lunch and 2 for dinner, plus other resorts bring in a flea market, this place is over rated for the high price it costs to stay here.

Just a wonderful vacation with wonderful service. Hard to top. I have been to Cancun in the past and this is the best resort by far. I highly suggest the Excellence Club

The resort was well maintained and all employees were extremely nice. The pools, food, and drinks were great. The nightly entertainment was well done.

We booked 9 nights on the recommendation of friends and were not disappointed. This resort has something for everyone and is absolutely beautiful. We enjoyed most of the entertainment and events, the gym, the restaurants, the coffee shop, the bars and all of the spots as most people have outlined in reviews on this platform. We absolutely loved the Entertainment team with special mention to: Natalia, Gabriel, Kevin, Angel, Alejandro, Alesandra (the baby), who made all the activities so fun. Also loved our sunrise Yoga and Pilates with Tanya. Favourite drinks were from Cesar at Martini bar because he used enough alcohol to make the drinks taste good. Favourite meals were at Grill, Oregano (delicious blackened chicken sandwich and salmon filet) and Spice (sushi was amazing, Tepanyaki was okay too). Loved Zumba in the pool and the bike tour was fun. Enjoyed the crafts, but wished there were more sessions for crafts as the chairs filled up so fast. The resort was clean, the staff was so attentive and friendly and we so appreciated not smelling cigarettes on site anywhere. We appreciated the room cleanings and the turn down service every night, too. The evening entertainment was always so impressive - We enjoyed it all. The most amazing night was Mexican Fiesta. The food and entertainment were simply top notch and completely over the top. I was so happy we booked this trip for our birthdays/anniversary as a family. We came home super happy and raving about the Excellence Playa Mujeres.

Had an incredible stay this past January to celebrate my 50th birthday with a group of close friends, and it truly turned into one of the most memorable trips of my life. I actually plan incentive trips for work and have researched hundreds of all-inclusive resorts over the years- and I can honestly say this one is hard to match. There were 11 of us in total, and every single person thoroughly enjoyed their stay. After spending a lot of time researching and planning where to celebrate, your resort exceeded every expectation we had. The Imperial Suite with the private pool was definitely a splurge for us, but it was worth every moment. The space was beautiful, the amenities were fantastic, and it quickly became the heart of our celebration. We spent so much time there laughing, relaxing, and making unforgettable memories together. The weather was a little on the chilly side during our visit, but the heated private pool absolutely made the trip and allowed us to enjoy the space every day. The drink service at our private pool was fantastic, and we spent many hours there celebrating together. There were so many little moments throughout the trip that made it unforgettable: - The beautiful balloon bouquet, what a gorgeous surprise walking into the room to find that! - Your staff singing Happy Birthday to me at the pool and bringing over a Happy Monkey drink was such a fun surprise - We loved the daily treats like champagne and charcuterie - Enjoying brunch in the room (including the floating breakfast) which was such a unique experience. Some of our favorite memories included karaoke with friends, dancing together at the silent disco, and even trying headphone Zumba. Your beach staff was also wonderful, making sure our entire group could sit together so we could all enjoy the ocean and spend time as a group. What stood out just as much as the beautiful accommodations was the incredible service. Everyone we encountered was so kind, welcoming, and attentive. Your team truly made me feel like a princess throughout the entire stay and went above and beyond to make my birthday feel special. I would also love to extend a special thank you to several members of your staff who made a lasting impression on us: Josue, Ruben, Tonatiuh and Sergio. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine care helped make our stay even more enjoyable and played a big part in making our celebration so memorable. Highly recommend!

A little pricey up front, but once you get there you can see why. Excellent food, accommodating staff, easy transport to and from. Dining is stress free. finding spots at the beach or pool is easy.

The Excellence has worked hard in past year to overcome some issues, from 2025. Staff was kind, professional, well trained and very friendly. Good to see all of the best back in their roles. this was the best 14 day vacation of the past 6 years.
