Excellence Playa Mujeres - Adults Only All Inclusive

The resort is beautiful and very well kept with staff working around the clock to keep it beautiful! We had a standout experience that was made even extra special by all the staff we interacted with. Some extra special standout staff were Cesar at the martini bar. He created an energy and atmosphere every single night that made our trip! Jesus with Basamate made our first meal there something we won’t forget, we had such a good meal experience that we wound up having 3 meals with Jesus. We also kept going back to the swim up bar to see Roger and Albert. We will definitely be back for future vacations

A wonderful relaxing experience. Been there many times and will go back. Staff is so dedicated we enjoyed our week with Sully on the beach everyday and Cesar from the martini bar who kicked off our night with excellent service and fun banter. Food was great and service is exceptional

We absolutely had an EXCELLENT time. Our first time here. Edgar was the most amazing representative of this resort. Kind...friendly...warm and so attentive! We also appreciated the pool side drink service by Emiliano. Our room was lovingly looked after by Jenny! We would love to mention Jonathan and Benjamin as standouts. We also ADORED Jesus!!!! WOW! Six of us enjoyed a wonderful stay at Excellence Playa Mujeres from February 13th through February 18th, 2026. The resort impressed us with its beautiful surroundings, exceptional cleanliness, and friendly staff. Special thanks to Edgar, Josue, and Jonathan at the Club Level Beach and Pool, who treated us like family and made our experience unforgettable. We also want to recognize Leslie, Director of Customer Relations, for outstanding care and attention.

We were a little hesitant about traveling to Cancun. We had a wonderful time. The service, the food, the amenities were all great. We look forward to going back.

This year, we visited EPM in February to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was amazing as always. There are always a few staff standouts who deserve to be mentioned. Miguel Angel-We met several years ago, and he still remembers that my favorite mimosa is passion fruit and that my husband wants habanero sauce on everything. He is amazingly attentive and just a wonderful person. Manuel-He is so thoughtful and always goes above and beyond. He transported us to ECPM and is such a considerate person. Jorge at Excellence Club Bar-He is so knowledgeable and puts on an awesome show. His ability to make pouring wine a performance is awe-inspiring. If you are lucky enough to have a bartending session included with your suite, he’s a true mixologist and can find anyone a drink they will enjoy. Cesar- He always makes delicious drinks and finds time to make you feel special. Jackie-She is such a caring and kind individual. You can tell that she truly cares and goes out of her way to make everyone feel seen. The reason we find this place so endearing is because of the people above. They make EPM feel like home each and every time we go.

We received Excellent service at nearly every turn. The room was great. Our only "complaint" was that we had to ask to have the mini (plunge) pool heated when we wanted to use it because the weather had been cold the couple weeks prior to our arrival. But they were quick to get it heated up upon request.

What more can I say. We have been to four of the Excellence resorts throughout the years but it is the people that truly make this one outstanding. Everyone was outstanding in their own right and all go out of their way to make your stay enjoyable and memorable. To name a few of the many…..Wendy in housekeeping, always a smile and a stellar job well done. Oscar and Roman, two of the best bartenders I’ve ever seen. Quick and good. Amazing. Alan the waiter in Oregano. A great addition to any meal. Anyi, would remember and bring you drinks before you even knew you wanted one. She was fabulous. Jacqueline who looks after all your customer service needs was always around, hunting us down to see what they could do for us. She went out of her way to meet every one of our requests. (We were there for a month so we had a few). The resort is beautiful, kept so by the many people attending to all the greenery. Everything’s is fabulous at this resort. Restaurants are great, pools are great. Look at the pictures on this site. JUST GO. You will feel better and be glad that you did. Remember, you will not be treated any better at ANY other resort. Period.

Had a great time! Would definitely recommend to anyone interested to travel to Mexico to stay at this establishment!

Overall best resort for the young crowd. Two people to mention who were wonderful. Leslie restaurant manager attentive and caring and Wendy room attendant with a lovely personality.
