Excellence Playa Mujeres - Adults Only All Inclusive

The Excellence brand continues to amaze me for quality and value. The variety and quality of food is amazing. The Excellence club swim-up suite is my wife and I's favorite room category with proactive wait staff and friendly concierges. We used to only go once per year, but now have been two trips per year. The most important thing that keeps up coming back is the excellent staff. They are very warm and friendly, ensuring all of our reasonable requests are met. I can't thank them enough!!! Management leaders Miriam and Victor are very attentive and responsive to all aspects within the resort. Guest services Jackie is and has been fantastic in handling any issue or request we have had. We miss Vilma as food and beverage manager, but her successor for Leslie has impressed us with her outstanding charisma and attention. The bar manager Rueben is a fantastic gentleman, he definitely goes above and beyond to ensure your stay is awesome. This man works so hard, I personally want to thank him. Now his bartenders have a special place in my heart too. Jorge in Excellence club is a fantastic person who always makes me laugh and smile. He makes my cocktails with perfection, but more than that he is just a wonderful guy who I consider a friend. I don't want to leave out Cesar at the martini bar, who is a legend in his own right. He is very lively and makes a perfect espresso martini. Our mornings would start on the beach with a cheerful greeting from one of the beach concierges. Josue, Sully, Jesus, David, and Edgar who ensured all of our needs were taken care of throughout the day, also can't thank them enough for scheduling events, taking care of all issues. Then we would get breakfast at either Magna, where Alan would make us laugh or Lobster house where Antonio and Daniel would take excellent care of us. Beach service is excellent and I want to specifically thank Floricell, Yessi, and Alberto for the excellent service and hard work they put in taking care of us. I am leaving out so many others who are deserving of praise. The house keeping staff. grounds maintainers, maintenance, reception, and bell hops all worked hard to make the resort nice and our stay worry free. Lastly, Season's Transport always gets us to/from airport without issue. Thank you all for what you, we love the resort.

Beautiful grounds. Great friendly staff. Food at Resturants not excellent. Not enough chairs at beach or pool. Loungers should have cushions.

This was our first all-inclusive resort experience after having done half a dozen cruises or so, we can say with certainty that the resort experience is the superior choice! What a great time. You're not tripping over other patrons and waiting in lines all day. It was great.

This was our fourth trip to EPM and it did not disappoint. Everything is excellent quality and the staff is the best part of all of it.

We absolutely loved our trip to Excellence Playa Mujeres and will be back! The service throughout the resort was amazing. Josue and Alberto at the sea side cabanas were absolutely excellent and made our beach day x10 better!

We highly recommend the excellence locations. The Beach here is fantastic, service is top notch, and the resort is immaculate! Already looking forward to our next trip.

We've only stayed at one all inclusive resort ever (although we've stayed at high end hotels before) and there's very little that we thought could be improved to make our stay better. The service is just fantastic, the location and access to the water (beach or pool) is primo and the facilities are in great shape for being over 15 years old. Are there quirks to the light switches in the room? Yes. Could the food be served warmer/hotter? Yes. Could they give us steak knives to cut red meat? Yes. But you quickly forget all those things because it literally feels like paradise. Loved the activities everyday. The entertainment was good or very good most nights. The pickup and dropoff from the airport was convenient and comfortable. Def recommend coming to this resort. We'll be back again!

We are returning 7 time returning guests. The cheerful staff attend to your every need, Well prepared food and an abundance of good quality drinks. Variety of pools and areas for active fun and quiet relaxation. Rooms are large and exceptionally clean.

1st thing 1st, I'm so glad that Sully (Beach Concierge) is still there as she provides the best Excellence Club Beach Service. We have known her for at least 2 years now and she still finds a new way to make us smile and make our trip memorable and enjoyable. She is a great artist as you can see from the goodbye towel art and definitely a reason why we choose this resort. Now the other reasons are that this resort has a great beach, great food, great service in all areas from sports bar to bell boy, great people, great rooms, great everything. The only thing is that you have to be careful when you go as Valentine's weekend was during the peak season for all the cold states/countries tourist and because it was Valentine's Day so it felt really crowded this time. So much so, that we constantly changed where we went or hung out at because large crowds who act like they never been nowhere kept messing up the Atmosphere. Or for those who frequently travels, it seems you got the crowd from Breathless and Temptation for a few days before returning back to normal. Nevertheless, this resort is too nice and you will definitely enjoy and we will be back and bring some family that we know could use this type of great Atmosphere.

We recently returned from our annual trip to EPM, and as always, we truly enjoyed our experience. This trip is something we look forward to every year, and the staff consistently make it special. We would love to recognize a few standout employees — although we want to emphasize that all staff go above and beyond. We didn’t always remember to get everyone’s names, but the following team members made our stay especially memorable (in no particular order): Benjamin, Daniel, Allan, and Gloria (Spice Manager) — wait staff across various restaurants Jorge — EC Bar Josua, Eduardo, and Sully — EC Beach Concierge Silemy, Diego, and Francisco — Bell Staff Catherine and the entire spa team — from hydrotherapy to our massages We sincerely apologize to anyone whose name we missed — please know their efforts did not go unnoticed. The level of service is truly one of the reasons we return year after year. Overall, we had another wonderful trip and absolutely look forward to visiting again. However, we would like to share some honest feedback regarding one recurring issue we have experienced. There seems to be a disconnect between the room amenities that are advertised and what is actually provided upon arrival. We intentionally select and pay more for specific room categories because of the listed amenities. Unfortunately, each year we have experienced inconsistencies in what is included. This does not seem consistent across your different resorts, which makes it even more confusing. For example, our room category clearly listed a private Bali bed on the beach as an included amenity. This was one of the primary reasons we chose that specific room. However, we were informed that it would not be provided. We even printed the website listing this time to ensure there was no misunderstanding, yet the amenity was still not honored. We completely understand that guests value different features, but when amenities are clearly advertised as part of a paid room category, they should be provided. What was most disappointing was not just the amenity itself, but that there was no attempt to accommodate, explain, or offer an alternative solution. We share this feedback respectfully because we genuinely enjoy your properties and want to continue returning each year. We simply hope for more consistency and alignment between what is advertised and what is delivered, especially when guests are paying a premium specifically for those inclusions.
