Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Huntsville

The staff was disinterested in engaging the customer. The first room I was assigned was filthy! The toilet had urine all over it, the couch had stains all over it, the bed looked like someone had been lounging in it prior to my arrival, the room smelled, the elevator had spit cans in it and the list could go on. The second room was a bit cleaner until I checked the mattress which was stained severely and had food and other items between the headboard and mattress, the remote for the TV was missing and there was a white powder in the cabinets like the room was being treated for some sort of bug infestation. I checked out that night and will never recommend or stay at this hotel again.

First off, the staff was very nice and helpful, and reacted quickly to address one of our concerns. The facility is old and run down. The toilet seat in our first room was broken, so we requested and received another room. The toilet in that room leaked around the base so we had to use a towel to soak it up during our stay. The carpet was dirty and some of the built-in furniture items were broken. The couple in the room next door smoked and the smoke came through the door separating the rooms. They also had a dog that barked from time to time during the night. Walls had been repaired but not repainted, and lights in the halls flickered. This is a budget hotel, and the price was very reasonable. I could/would stay there again, but not with my wife, since she has higher standards than me. If you want an inexpensive place to stay that has comfortable beds and a shower, then this is the place.

Breakfast and friendly

The room was nasty. Food in the floors. Toiletries weren't stocked. Heater didn't work. The air dryer was taped up.

The staff is very friendly and understanding and they are willing to help any way possible it's a very clean and quiet place and I will always stay here when I need a place to stay

Filthy!! Dirty and disgusting. The whole building smelled like pot. Fece smears on the bed sheets and on top of the bed covers. SO GROSS!!!

The room was nasty the carpet was filthy, the bathroom was nasty the tub was nasty 🤮 it was nasty

you get what you pay...just i would find somewhere else! felt like a hospital room with the layout of the very small room

The tv did not work the room look like it had been treated rough before we had our stay.

This was beyond a disappointing experience! There was old food in the light above the bed, the floor was carpet and so nasty that your feet would stick to the carpet, air conditioning and air vent in the bathroom were absolutely “caked” in well over a year of dust, there were multiple safety hazards, the elevator inspection expired in 2023, I could not touch the remote or phone because of how dirty they were. I just really don’t know how to express the level of disappointment and when I reported concerns the receptionist simply laughed and said “ok”. I wish I could attach the pictures!
