Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Huntsville

The room was filthy. I couldn’t use the bathroom shower because it had mold all around it. The sink was falling off of the wall. No coffee in the morning, nothing set out for breakfast. The health department should be called.

Check in was great, the lady was very nice. When she left and we actually got in our room the tv wouldn’t turn off and the volume wasn’t working. I spoke with a man and he swapped out the remote, not bothering to see if it was only the batteries. I had to go back to tell him they didn’t work either. He was very smug and seemed that I was bothering him. I asked to be given another room he gave us a room on the 3rd floor. The smoke alarm was covered in plastic, the light switch looked like they had been burnt, there was duct tape on the dryer, so couldn’t be used. The carpet was awful.. stains, sticky. Breakfast only had waffles and coffee but no sugar, seems they haven’t had any in weeks so I was told. The only reason we stayed was because there isn’t another hotel near my family, as one is being built now and in the future we will be staying a different hotel.

The room was kind of clean. The bed was clean and the bathroom was clean but the carpet was sticky and needs to be washed. It might have been vacuumed but it’s dirty probably because it’s sticky.

The cleaning staff was rude and very rasist! When I complained to the front desk she was very un concerned. I will never stay or recommend anyone else to stay at this hotel or any hotel connected to it!

They have dirty sheets have my damn boyfriend an eye infection and damn there he had pink eye. It unacceptable for yall to have even roaches dead ones and alive in the bed that yall say that room service cleans. Will never go again for a stay or anything

The rooms cleanliness wasn’t very good. The floor was extremely dirty. The sheets and bathroom were clean though

The front desk was the best thing in this hotel. It was for one night and I’d stayed at Microtels before. Underwhelmed. It’s in bad need of a makeover.

The only complaint my husband and I had was there was no minifridge in our room. Other than that it was great price and a good location.

The smoke alarm was not installed. There were orange spots on the sink. The dresser was broken. The paint was chipped and there were brown stains on the walls. Overall, I didn’t see any bugs, but I just wouldn’t recommend staying here for the price. I thought I’d give it a try after the reviews, but I really wish I didn’t.

Very friendly and capable staff, always there to help.
