Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Huntsville

The property was poorly maintained. The while property, from the lobby to the room, was very filthy. The bed linen was nasty. Clearly used. Makeup and hair all iver the bed. We had to ask for new linens and change our own bed. Walls, floor and even the ceilings were in bad need of repainting. Property as a whole is not being managed well. Staff is not dressed professionally, front desk clerk was dressed in a onies pj suit.

Same reviews as others... No towels. At all. Not even a face towel. Stained mattresses. Dirty room. No ice liner. A bandaid (I kid you not) on the smoke detector. But the place got a 75 on their recent health inspection (I noticed this when checking in. And took a picture of it). So, really, what did I expect? I will say the air blew cold and the bed, though icky, slept well

The manger was nice

I was charged 60 dollars to much. I tried to tell the girl that it was not right and she charged my card anyway. Then the first room she gave me was not cleaned at all. The second one the fridge did not work and the phone was not even hooked up. The money still has not been credited back to my account

Maintenance man saved the day and made sure I got a decent room. Great guy. Front desk staff accommodated the change requests (the "original" room offered me should never be used until totally renovated and fixed.)

Nasty room, broken furniture, nicks all over wall, blemishes in the window cushion, half the window opaque with water bubble, etc. TV didn't function -- overall the worst room I have ever been offered at any price in a lifetime of travel.

Its good if you need something for a night or needing to be close to AAMU.

Breakfast was a positive. The room beds were clean. The sink in the bathroom was broke. There was multiple drywall spots that were broken. When booking.com tried to refund me one night. It was a major headache! It's like they purposely make it near impossible to get a hold of them. Then they're refunded the wrong amount. Then management at the hotel knocked on my room started yelling at me.
