No staff around.

It was roomy and a great location.

The bed was old and uncomfortable. The room was not soundproof as advertised. All the room and side exit doors slam closed, and we heard them all night long.

Always kept clean and staff showed respect and left us alone as we expected unless we need something

The breakfast always stayed the same everyday especially with scrabbled eggs and sausage. I would had preferred if the hot meal was changed differently everyday or have one more option like hash brown. Didn’t get receipt from desk and didn’t get email of the receipt after that our stay.

Absolutely the Worst Hotel Experience Ever From start to finish, this was a nightmare stay. When we first arrived, we couldn’t even settle in because maintenance was working on a light inside our room. We left for a few hours, and when we came back, our key no longer worked so back down to the front desk to have it reprogrammed. That night, the room was miserably hot because the AC barely pushed out any cold air. The next morning, my sister spotted a roach crawling on the wall. She killed it and even took a photo to show the front desk, but the staff completely brushed it off and didn’t offer to switch our room or do anything to make it right. At that point, I decided we’d check out early. The next morning when I went to get a luggage cart, the receptionist said both were being used. I thanked her and went back to my room, but when I returned just minutes later, she was gone and two guests were standing there waiting to be helped. We waited nearly 30 minutes, calling the front desk phone repeatedly with no answer. The breakfast attendant told us the receptionist went home! Later that afternoon, I returned to officially check out and asked to speak with a manager. Unfortunately, the manager was just as unprofessional actually chuckled when I mentioned compensation and said, “A refund for what?” I’ve also contacted corporate, but this experience has completely changed my opinion of Choice Hotels. Between the lack of cleanliness, poor customer service, and unprofessional management, I will never stay at a Choice Hotel again.
