El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui

Hotel is very low budget, wouldn't say this was a 4 star. Rooms were dirty, had a leak ceiling in bathroom from upstairs shower, room full of ants, and mosquitoes, was given one towel for for two adults, asked for three days to have another one. Staff at the bar were rude, and only become friendly the last couple of days before we were leaving, trying to get tips. Food was similar every day, we ate out alot, drinks were watered down, not strong at all, just tasted the mixer. Location was nothing around really, thank God to hard rock and bistrol being around the corner. Beach was nice and clean. And Marina was nice to visit. Beds were hard and woke up ache every day, first time we have been away, and was excited to be going home. Wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed in the hotel from September 15, 2025 for two weeks....The hotel has old furniture....poor hygiene...broken sunbeds on the beach...the food is modest...The beach is beautiful....The only value of the hotel is the staff who try to make the guests feel good, they work all day until exhaustion but they are not omnipotent...The only culprit for the conditions of the hotel is bad management... I would especially praise the staff in the restaurant and on the beach... The management would have to fight harder for the employees and the reputation of the hotel...

El Mouradi Club Kantaoui is without doubt the worst hotel I have ever stayed in wish I could give no stars. From the moment we arrived there was no proper welcome, no explanation about the hotel, where to go, or what to do — nothing to make guests feel comfortable. Within the first 24 hours, I had to change rooms four times because every single one was filthy or broken — dirty bathtubs, broken curtains, lights that didn’t work, and even ants crawling around the toilet and bathtub. Absolutely disgusting and unacceptable.As well as bedding left stripped for hours. The staff were rude, dismissive, and made no effort to communicate properly. Something as simple as asking for extra towels turned into a nightmare — they didn’t even keep enough towels for guests, which is ridiculous and the first time I’ve ever heard of a hotel running out. At meal times, they never once asked if guests had allergies or dietary requirements — shocking and dangerous for anyone with health conditions. On Love Holidays, this hotel was never described as a “local” hotel, but in reality it was full of groups of Algerian men who stared constantly and left the place dirty. The whole environment felt uncomfortable and unsafe. The buffet was beyond a joke — messy, overcrowded, and unhygienic. Guests were literally grown men fighting over chicken nuggets and cake, people pushing and shoving to get food, and tables left filthy. Drinks were watered down and awful. The spa experience was just as bad — the masseuse coughed directly in my friend’s face, had long dirty nails, and instead of creating a calm atmosphere, she was chatting to other staff members during the massage. My friend was left feeling uncomfortable, disrespected, and not relaxed at all. It was unprofessional and unhygienic from start to finish. This hotel is run-down, dirty, unsafe, and falsely advertised. There is no standard of cleanliness, no proper communication from staff, and no care for guests. The only good thing about this holiday was when it ended and I finally came back home. ⚠️ IF YOU SEE THIS HOTEL ON LOVE HOLIDAYS WEBSITE, PLEASE DO NOT BOOK. It is a massive regret and a complete waste of money

Came here 10 years ago and had a fantastic time so returned. It was awful. Queues and people pushing for food! Half of the food was inedible. No glasses at the bar! No towels at the pool. Filthy, rotten, dirty. Miserable staff! Only warm water on offer and moaned at if you wanted to fill up your bottle! Been to tunisia over 20times and this was the worst place we have been to! Wifi was awful. No room service. No evening snack bar as advertised! I could go on and on. We made the most of a bad hotel. Plus side gorgeous weather, nice pool (apart from the scum) comfy bed, good air con and powerful shower! Definitely not a 4star hotel and shouldnt be charged as one. Needs re evaluating and possibly given a 2 star at most! The poor manager skulks around as if hes given up! Looks like hes on the verge of retirement and is just counting down the days! The amount of times i seen people arguing over queue jumping was hilarious! No one wanted to wait in a 15minute queue to get a drink. It was totally ridiculous

Upon my arrival, I was greeted with a warm smile and special attention. The staff was both professional and incredibly attentive, always ready to respond to my needs with kindness. The hotel itself exuded comfort and elegance. Every detail, from room service to the little personal touches, reflected a constant care for the well-being of the guests. It’s an experience I will never forget, and I hope to return very soon.

excellent hotel location is amazing,many activites. Pool is deep but lovley temperature. Good drinks and good vibes.

Was going to cancel on the strength of the reviews, but decided to go....I decided to pay/bribe for a good room.we were shown to our room which was not great, but not too bad, reasonably clean, no smells, flat screen TV, large bed and no leaking toilet as per reviews...little did we know that the aircon was faulty and ridiculously loud, and we were directly above the entertainment, so no early sleep, but I'm glad we got that room, as lots of people were complaining about there rooms... Forward to food and drink....there was OK beer, no cocktails, and no sugar free drinks, no free water either unless you queued at 11pm..water was only 25p in the local shop anyway...food when we ate in the evening wasn't that bad,chicken, rice, fish, veg etc, but rude greedy Eastern Europeans made the experience awful, they act like animals pushing, grabbing as much as yhey can....I think they could set it out better maybe to make it less prison canteen...breakfast was awful, no toaster, hardly anything for my taste, but coffee machine and pastries were the order of the day...a guy fries/incinerates eggs, uses his bre hands to pick out the shells and despite my numerous attempts to show him how to fry an egg, he couldn't, so gave up...pool bar did pizza at lunch along with other bits which was OK but repetitive....dont think the restaurant staff can cope when hotel busy, as indeed it is hard to find a made up table, but we just grabbed a vacant one, then grabbed a member of staff for our cuttlery...there are 2 pools, we used top one which was OK, bit scruffy but quite clean...beach was OK too, but always packed...you have to buy tokens for the towels, and the towel guy thinks he is the big boss...he tells you when you can or cant change your towels.he was the rudest member of staff there....The hotel was surprisingly busy, full up actually, so no beds available after 9ish....Our room was cleaned, bed made, towels changed daily, so we tipped our lady daily...the rest of the staff in the main were miserable, lacklustre and only were friendly if they thought you would tip them...lots of nice staff though, and despite the reviews, they are always trying to clean the hotel which is quite run down....I really think that the guests make this hotel a poor experience...one northern girl and her friend complained about dirt in the pool, screaming and shouting, taking pics (for a refund I guess) trying to get the Brits to back her up, but they had left there food to be blown around hence the dirty pool, then smashed a glass the next day and left it...they, like several other guest would put towels on beds early, and not be back all day, so wrongwhen dozens of people were searching for a bed....What can you do with disgusting guests like that??? I would not book this hotel again, but actually would return if it was super cheap, as didn't have an awful experience, just not a great one, but as they say, you get what you pay for...

The rooms are very basic no safe no mini bar very old fashioned, thee was a broken cupbard broken draw, dirty carpets no bedding just a sheet we had a ant infestation as did all the people we spoke to some had beetles in rooms the pool area is in bad state. The food was nor good,plenty choice but very poor. The bar staff work so hard ut the choice of drinks and qualiy of them is very poor.the waiting staff. are good too One of the bar managers was a rude man that screams at his poor staff in front of customers I complained to hotel manager about his behaviour. Will not be going back to that hotel.

I have never written a review before, but this place was awful - rooms extremely basic - bathroom - bed - tv - desk + chair ( with stains on), thats it...... hairdryers for hire only in dinar, then they want to return the deposit on morning of leaving in coins, which cannot be changed back to gbp, safety deposi boxes are in a room by reception, no fridge in room,no tea coffee facilties and I had branches from a large pomegranate tree poking me on the balcony, so no view at all - was on ground floor room 321 - top of corridor smelt of sewers, corridors full of flys resting on the walls and my bathroom was the same at least 40 flys resting every morning, so kept the door shut. Bar frequently ran out of white wine, one evening also ran of of vodka + gin - my holiday buddy was up at 5.30 every morning to secure sunbeds on the beach nothing left by 8am - then the sunbed wars start with people complaining and shoving beds in any space they can find " I was told to move my bed rudely because I refused the lady tried to physically push me off the bed to move it over security were called" food was ok but check it's cooked as i got a piece of chicken that had just been shown the pan not cooked at all, so need to watch what you are eating - large queue's in dinning hall for Breakfast + dinner - there were often queue's at reception to make complaints infact on check-in we were left standing like lemons as the staff dealing with our check-in went to assist with someone who was complaining about there room, (this set alarm bells off instantly) very disheartening, and clearly a waste of time as nothing is done when you do complain. this is no where near 2* never mind 4* Also I note in pics it does not show the volleyball section right next to the sunbeds, the ball come over and hit my shoulder one day and no staff asked if I was ok, just went back to playing ! so all in all my first visit to Tunisia was a big thumbs down. To finish on a high note the beach is beautiful white sand as the pictures show.

On arrival it was a shambles welcoming, make sure you have the reception booking printed when arriving ( we didn't took ages to sort) then sent over to the currency cashier for tourist tax then sent to the canteen where there was a fight kicking off. We went straight up to the room, the staff knocked on our room and had brought us some food which nicely expected. It was a shame it was vile , we ended up ordering foods and drinks at the hard rock cafe. This was a pattern for most nights eating out where it was possible. The hard rock cafe is less than a 5 minute walk. We walked up to the marina two nights which was also worth the walk. So back to the hotel, room wise I think we were fortunate view wise, overlooking pools and sea apart from that run down rooms , uncomfortable beds....not what you see in the advertisements. Every hotel I've stayed at you have a information card with all times of meals , opening times ect. Not here few signs around hotel but you probably find out half way through your holiday. However there is a safety booklet..... Loo didn't flush on arrival but the maintenance guy did fix it promptly. The canteen ....not resturant ...low hygiene standards and cramped buffet area. Waiters would sit you at dirty tables and wipe crumbs off stained table cloths. Food was dreadful on the few times we attempted it . All we ended up eating was pancakes and eggs at breakfast. In summary I think prisoners eat better than you do at this hotel!! The bar staff, except one lovely welcoming and professional man who was always polite. The rest were creepy if I was getting a drink on my own , or rude with my husband with me. We witnessed staff taking the puss out of english people with manners but would serve rude other nationalities, lots of queue jumping . If you want a cocktail it's Russian roulette you never know what you'll get even if you ask for something. The alcohol in the all inclusive ran out on more than 3 occasions apart from brandy and whisky but they have plenty only if you pay extra for! Again every other hotel I've stayed all inclusive house keeping top you up daily with bottled water. Here you pay 1dt for bottled water or they have a free hour to get free bottled water on the evening. When me and husband had a bottle, my husband starting drinking it and said it was tasting metallic. I told him to stop and was ill for a whole day and a half which he missed due to the fact they ran out of bottled and must of filled up with tap water. If you get water from bar ensure its an unscrewed bottle or just buy it. Some of the animation team were alright and activities were good. They seem to favour young impressionable girls and don't make much of an effort with English families or couples. Entertainment was very hit and miss. Some of the male holidayers seem to target lone women/girls on their own which I faced a fair bit when my husband was ill. I feel its not a safe hotel for lone female travellers unless you want to risk it you might be lucky. We did meet some wonderful people including a lovely couple who made our holiday more fun . Quoting what a lady said to me " you make the most of it" and we did try all we we could to. We'd go back to tunisa but never again at this sorry excuse of a hotel.
