El Mouradi Port El Kantaoui

I just got back from this hotel after a week stay with my family, and whilst the hotel is in dire need of upgrading and more cleanliness, the staff were the only thing that made this holiday for us. The reviews are true in that the hotel rooms especially are extremely dated and require modernisation. There were no extra amenities in the room, such as hair dryers, kettles etc. We had a fridge, for which the cable did not even reach the socket, so we could not use it. We also had a broken tile in the bathroom, which was a safety hazard. The bath and toilet were also not very clean. We had ants in our room, which was not pleasant. Towels and toilet roll were limited, and we would often have to ask the cleaners for more, to which they seemed annoyed. There is no wifi around the hotel, except in the lobby. I would recommend purchasing an e-sim, which saved my life that week. The food choices were okay, but often repetitive. It could get really busy too and lead to queues and people pushing and shoving in. The waiters were all friendly, but seemed overworked and tried their best to accommodate. We often had to wait for a clean table and drinks etc., it was often chaotic and disorganised. The beach was a beautiful aspect of the hotel. It is connected to the hotel, and included lots of activities throughout the day. It was at a very convenient distance, and great for swimming and watching the sunset. However, what made this holiday for us were the staff. The staff were 5* for us. Firstly, Khalifa at the restaurant, who we initially met after checking in. He went above and beyond for us every night and was so lovely. He was extremely hard working and made us feel so welcome. Furthermore, I have to say the biggest thank you to our friends in the animation team who were the highlight of this holiday. A special thank you mostly to Hassan, Mohammed and Feras. They were extremely welcoming towards us, entertaining and the most loving and caring animators. They worked hard all day to keep us entertained and made sure to involve us in everything. They really made us feel special and like family. We miss the team dearly and would return simply for them. They are a credit to this hotel and deserve all the recognition and praise. Whilst this hotel requires a lot of improvement and is definitely not a 4*, I have to say the staff (in particular, the animation team), made this a very memorable and enjoyable holiday for us. We would happily come back tomorrow to see them again, if we could!

I just had an amazing week at this hotel. The hotel is very dated and old but the staff were brilliant, especially the animation team. A big thank you to Mohammed, Hasan and Feres. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay!

Im not sure i was in the same hotel as all the other people that are giving 5* The only nice thing about this hotel was the pool area. The hotel smells like sewage. The hotel is dirty, the rooms smell of urine and the carpets look like they've never been hoovered in a long time.. Carpets in a hotel room are a definite no no anyway! The dining room smells awful, the ques are ridiculous and the food god only knows because as a family of 6 we never touched the food. We decided to move out of this hotel to another. Please belive the bad reviews you read of this hotel, I dont normally leave negative reviews but when your spending money wanting a nice holiday and you end up here its just not fair. The 4* should be removed because this definitely is not.. This hotel was the reason our holiday got off to an awful start. Take my advice and book somewhere else.

Was my first time going with family in holidays in different countrie, and yeah we did enjoy, I think was very cheap holidays all inclusive for 7 days woww. If you want luxury then pay more but I just want to have fun with family with low cost and this I got! Happy with the staff, with everyone, happy with the food and all the activities. Thank you guys for everything, we really enjoyed 🥰🥰🥰!!!

C'est très nul

This hotel is severely outdated, in desperate need of TLC and generally not fit for purpose at all. This was our second trip to Tunisia. After an amazing stay at Seabell just down the road we thought how different could it be. Boy, were we wrong!! The check in took hours, food choices are limited, drinks are difficult to get, rooms are old and rickety, cleaning is so poor. Room service meant just straightening the sheets on the terrible mattress/beds. It was a disappointment and has put me off returning to Tunisia 🙁

The atmosphere was great at the hotel, especially with the animation team. I really loved the time with the girl Animatrice Habiba ben Salah . She is very nice and lovable.

The stuff was great.Habiba animator lovely girl 10/10.I would recomend everybody to visit hotel.Peacefull and welcoming♥️

Where to begin we arrived at this hotel on Monday the 14th July 2025 we was told to hang around in the lobby for nearly 3 by the 3 rude receptionist because our room was not ready till 2pm we then changed rooms 5 times after refusing what they tried to give us the balcony was hanging off the first the second had a bed propped up on odd bits of metal it was disgustingly dirty broken toilet ,broken ac,in others the list goes on the room we eventually accepted was crawling with ants & had 2 bed we had to push together to sleep our family of 4 no fridge as advertised We spent a lot of money while on this holiday having to buy drinks & snacks as we were either charged at the bar or given a tiny soft drink in a paper cup some of the serving staff & lifeguards were lovely & tried there best but the food was not to our taste fish every night & we really struggled to find anything my children would eat age 5 & 14 meaning we had to eat out (hard rock cafe was excellent) we were definitely in the minority as English & although it couldn’t be helped the hotel caters better for other ethnicities (who were rude & would simply push past you to get to food) the animation team really didn’t include English & evening entertainment was also not something we could really get involved in there was lots of refurbishment going on & at some stage my 5 year old got covered in paint the views from our last balcony was trees and a million cigarette ends all over the floor my husbands wrist band kept coming off so he went to reception to ask for a new one they took his old 1 and stapled it to our keys see picI wish I had believed the reviews I thought people were being harsh they are definitely true my advice would be to avoid & go elsewhere we have had some lovely holidays in Tunisia previously but after this we will return
