Liked that the closeness of the hotel to the main plaza. Free coca tea and filter water (one of the few hotels with free water) at the enterance. Helpful staff.

Hotel Arqueologo was a good hotel for our stay. Two nights, two rooms, Christmas eve and Christmas night 2018. Our room with loft and mosquito net bed were fantastic! Breakfast was wonderful, the room it's in has a great view of Cusco. The day staff didn't speak english was bad. And the alpaca dinner at their restaurant was not good at all. Other than those 2 things a good stay!

Lovely small hotel in Cusco Peru with two interior courtyards. Breakfast was delicious with eggs cooked to order. The front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.

"Look elsewhere "

After traveling from Machu Picchu to Cusco, we were very tired and excited to stay in our suit we booked months prior. Unfortunately when we got to the hotel we were told they booked out our room and we had to stay in the only room they had left.... the two twin bed room next to the office. We were more than disappointed. Fortunately they refunded the money but still doesn’t please me because we booked the suit for the reason of being able to relax after a long day of hiking Machu Picchu. Would not recommend.
