Unfortunately the room we had had not been maintained for I say good 15 years Paint all coming off around the windows Bed not been changed in 15 years so the floor is more comfortable to sleep on Spider webs everywhere Holes in the sheets Really run down Mould in showers Thé positive side is the property manger cares and was totally professional it’s hard when owners are not spending money to upkeep the rooms

We were warmly welcomed at reception and given our keys etc. When we entered the property it was fairly clean but not to a very good standard (debris on carpet, dirt/sand marks on the lounge etc). Resort grounds are great and the kids had a great time at the Jetty and exploring. The air conditioning worked intermittently, we were advised that it had issues and they would repair asap but not over the weekend as it was a public holiday. The temperature in the townhouse was quite cold, especially at night and the beds only had a thin sheet and blanket with no additional blankets provided, on a few nights we were very cold when the A/C wouldn't turn on. I then tried to do a load of washing and found out the drier didnt work, it would spin but no air was being circulated. Upon checkout we advised the reception of our issues and they just brushed them off, almost as if we'd broken the appliances ourselves. At double what we would normally pay for a 3 night stay (cant quote dollar figure due to Hotels.com policy) i was expecting better value for money and everything to work, or at least be repaired at some time during our stay. Would only come back if the price was significantly lower. For this kind of money better places are available.

Beautiful spot for a holiday with the family. Checking in was seamless. Amenities need to be updated, other then that, will definitely be back in the summer.

The house was fabulous, large and sleeps 10. probably should advise that garage isn’t available for parking.

The cafe and restaurant were very disappointing.

Location is great, lake makes it interesting.. good facilities such as multiple pools and tennis courts.. however not maintained well.. Property was not cleaned well .. spiders and cobwebs all over the balcony and front porch.. Both restaurants are very average and over priced..

The beds were by far the most uncomfortable I've stayed in. Our room furniture was very dated, I don't think anything had been changed for around 20+ years. The lounge was quite smelly, just the vibe that thousands of people had lounged on it. We woke up every morning tired from a crap nights sleep and sore from the hard brick mattress. I'm actually really shocked that Raffertys don't have a policy where mattresses need to be changed frequently. If they do, then the owners of our room definitely purchased their mattresses 2nd hand. They were SO old. you could see the lumps and bumps through the sheets. The kitchens have VERY limited things, we had 1 blunt knife, so couldn't cook, 2 small bowls so cereal was out. IT was just more frustrating than anything else. Don't eat at the restaurant, its terrible quality for what you pay. however it all depends on the room you get, 1 family in our party received a free upgrade and their room was lovely, all modern furniture, new beds, kitchen full. but majority of the families in our party had the dated rooms with all the same complaints we had. The only highlight are the pools, great for kids. Don't stay here, it's not worth it.

The property is much more populated than I realised when booking, with both residential homes and holiday lettings. Each terrace (we experienced three) are all in varying degrees of decor and repair - one felt like a dark and dingy motor inn while another was a bright airy holiday home. The number of pools and tennis courts is great and the food we ate was all delicious.

Overall good experience around the resort. Beds could be a little more comfortable and wi-fi range could be better. Found that not having toilet facilities downstairs in unit an issue. Facilities all good. pools should be cleaned more often. Found the Cafe excellent with a good choice.

As per our earlier email Filthy apartment, old, lack of maintenance, broken/ uncomfortable lounges, dark and dingy Rooms, filthy shower screens, both toilets leaked onto floor when flushed, general lack of maintenance / upkeep through out, small outdated tv in weird location , we left a day early and cancelled a family dinner of 10 we had organised
