Abbey Sands Hotel

The young receptionist was really helpful

The breakfast was poor,no choice of eggs,bland greasy bacon,no alternative milk,no pastries other than croissants. We had a broken chair in our "executive room " my husband almost sat on it! General decor old and dated,the swags of curtains on the ceiling in the dining room was dirty with dead flies in them. We had to pay 12.50 per day for parking that wasn't secure,constant bad smell in our room even though we opened the windows

Newly renovated area ,all new toilet , furniture , carpets. All done to a high standard. Usual hotel buffet breakfast ,all good.

View from window of a lot of adjacent hotels all run down shabby looking. Not this hotels fault ,just a image of past popular old hotels now showing their age. Looks like the area needs investment like the Abbey Sands hotel is now doing.

Not enough parking, and they charge £9, which we did not expect. Breakfast had very limited choice of food and drink.

Room was lovely and very clean. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Location was great. Breakfast was very good. On-site parking at reasonable price.

Close to the sea and the town . The staff were friendly and polite and helpful at hall time s 100%good

There was nothing wrong with the hotel all good
