"Adequate"

8.0

So we stayed here for one week (17th May to 24th May) My husband described this hotel perfectly and I will use it in this review it was adequate. Food was okay but very limited choice wise. Room was okay and cleaned daily , bins emptied, swept etc. Staff were okay wouldn't say they went over and above and I wouldn't say they were rude just again okay apart from Dora (entertainer )who is a wee diamond and just so sweet and kind to the children which for me made it as my boys wanted to play Darts, Water polo , Volleyball , Ping pong all week as Dora was so nice. Rooms need bit of tlc and updated and bed my son slept on was hard as rock but he didn't complain just got on with it! My one big gripe was the noise from the entertainment at night as we were in room 1 which is right next to the stage it was so loud that it vibrated off our wall!! It was on to 11pm at night and for me with a 6 year old son wasn't ideal and then woken up early with blasting music some days !! Again not ideal. On the whole , no real big complaints but I wouldn't tell people to rush here. The pool was a highlight and made the hotel

"Great pool, abysmal accommodation"

6.0

I am currently staying here Pool: In terms of the pool and the gardens they are definitely a 4 star . Lovely pools, although all of them bar the shallow ankle deep toddler pool are too deep at 1.48m all round . Go great if u have toddlers or older children/ teens who can swim but not for younger children or for people who cannot swim . That’s why people congregated at the beginning of the pool Clean water Some tiles around the pool in need of repair Lovely fruit trees and green areas If you get bored of the pool the lovely landa beach is opposite , with makronissos and nissi very near by Beaches If you want a quieter beach without the tourist hoarded which is also beautiful try Ayia Thekla beach which is near the water park end of ayia napa or glyki Nero beach which is underneath the Grecian sands, its slightly wavy too ( very on windier days) and really fun and refreshing Accommodation Cyprus has star ratings for its hotels and “tourist apartment” ratings class A B C D for accommodation which does not qualify for star ratings - the accommodation provided here at the hotel would be a class D in my opinion. It’s not even the top end of a tourist apartment which are usually self contained flats , I’d say it was below a class D- awful , and to state it’s a 4 star hotel is false advertising. Furniture must be from 1980s and 90s, hard mattresses that sink to the base , bad looking furniture, kitchen cupboards stink of mould , grotty looking accommodation in general , blood stain on the curtain , for some reason my hotel pillow case had the branding of the chrysomare beach hotel which was odd, doors looking old and tired, bathroom was even worse, yellow stained bath with ingrained grime that had never been scrubbed , stains behind the toilet ,rusting around fittings , a hair dryer from the 80s on the wall- never seen something like that before Cheap Plastic bins with no lid ,dirty floors, old fixtures and fittings that had long gone out of date, bathroom window that wouldn’t stay open, balcony’s on the ground floor had steps that weren’t fenced so small children could easily talk over broken locks on doors and a key fob that you stick into the wall. I haven’t seen one of these particular key fob since the 1990s. Food Food generally was not good the salads were great however the rest of the food left a lot to be desired. I would not go half board as other people have said staff appeared to be nonchalant although friendly I want occasion they served sliced pork with cheese sauce all over it and then proceeded to pour the same fake cheese sauce and everything else scrambled eggs in the morning or powdered however there is a choice of boiled eggs and fried eggs. Breakfast is quite good. It’s the dinners which aren’t so great . Pool bar drinks are not very good unless you’re buying beer it severely watered down and I wouldn’t recommend them. Reception area is very basic. Looks like you’re walking into a one star hotel not a four star. Although by any means of the word, this is not a four star hotel and whoever does the Ratings needs to come back and re-rate it. There is a full sized electric treadmill and weights area downstairs however it smells musty and mouldy and that’s all there is -this has great potential to be refurbished. There was a lot of wasted space. First of all the car park does not need to be as massive as it is you could fit another hotel on it! and Downstairs there is absolutely huge swathes of unused space I would not return to this hotel I would not return to this hotel

"value for money"

8.0

My father and I stayed here on april the 23rd, booked with jet 2 holidays. The location was excellent with Landa beach a 2 minute walk . NissI beach was a 15 minute walk across the coastal path. Just outside the hotel was a bus stop which we used every night for 2 euros for access to Ayia napa centre. These buses run every 20 minutes until 1.a.m which was late enough for us. The hotel itself was great value for money , we had no issues with the food , although the deserts wasn’t a great selection . Which I didn’t mind mange as I’m trying to lose a bit of weight. The waiters and staff were polite and very helpful and always at hand to help. The rooms were a little dated but I’ve stayed in a lot worse. The pool area was excellent and clean with plenty of beds available, over all it was excellent and will be going back in September with a few mates. Not sure why people complain over the slightest thing at this hotel.

"Great value stay"

10.0

Was a great value week away. Rooms are a bit tired but didn’t intend to spend any time other than sleeping and showering. Mattresses weren’t particularly comfortable. Food was good with a great choice at all meal times, some really nice roast joints throughout the week and a good choice for everyone. Drinks very good with a big choice of cocktails in the all inclusive, 19 of them rather than the more normal handful. Pool and pool area really nice and very clean. Plenty of beds always available. Location is good, 2 minute walk across the road to a really nice beach and then another 10 minutes along the coastal path or road in either direction to Macronossis which has a similar beach or the other way to Nissi Beach which is amazing but busy. Sunbeds on all the beaches are a bargain €2.50 all day. Hotel offers bike hire, plenty of taxis about and a bus stop right outside. Walk to Ayia Napa takes around an hour. Would 100% come back again

"Best week with friends"

10.0

Had a fab holiday staying here with 5 friends. Really impressed given the price we paid for all inclusive. Location is perfect for the gorgeous beaches in walking distance and also bars and restaurants in walking distance. Buses available too which is good for Ayia Napa as a bit further to walk. Studio apartments, no concerns with ours. Yes might be a bit dated but caused no issues for us. Cleaning staff daily, do a good job and are really friendly. All staff in the hotel in all roles are really friendly and helpful, took the time to chat and had some laughs with us. Really made an impression. The food was absolutely fine, no complaints at all, good range of choice and we really enjoyed our meals. The chefs are so nice coming out to talk to us and tell us what the dishes are. The chef who didn’t talk English would interact still and make you feel welcome. All the waiting on and front of house staff are really fab. Kevin and Cecilia to name two who were wonderful but also the others just didn’t get their names. Shout out to Jim in the restaurant too! He is such a nice man and really welcoming and helpful. Good range of drinks on the bar including cocktails. Customer service great at both bars. Harris at the pool bar is really good at his job and we had some good laughs with him. Pool and pool area really nice and well kept. Always got sun beds for 6 of us together and we didn’t have to rush out early to do this. There are day time activities each day run by Dora, who is lovely (water Zumba, water polo, quizzes etc) There is evening entertainment, for kids and adults which is fine and some good musicians were on but there’s not much of it really. As I’m not a full evening til very late. As it finished quite early it would suit those who would be bothered being kept awake late. We didn’t mind as happy going down the road to more lively bars. One night we went to the Stardust Variety Show. I can’t recommend this enough. It’s family friendly and absolutely incredible. Tickets include transport and a meal. We also paid for the top ticket for bottomless drinks. The service was amazing. The show itself thoroughly enjoyable. I saw some poor reviews on here about our hotel and after a week there I can’t agree with any of them from my experience.

"With a visit"

8.0

Returned for the second time and going back again in September. Had a great time ,selling points are, great pool , welcoming staff, very clean apartments, maids in every day, size or apartments are good used to be self catering so have fully functioning kitchen area as opposed to all hotels with just mini fridge. Pool bar is great Aris has a great knowledge of cocktails and makes a great pina colada , quite at night so able to get a good night sleep, and plenty of sunbeds no rush to put towels down and has the best beaches. Bar staff and waiters can't do enough for you they are on the go all day and night, especially Cecilia, Kevin, and the cheeky lads behind the bar are great and funny too. Drawbacks are, Food is ok, plenty of choice, but basic, limited entertainment, although Dora the entertainment girl tries hard to involve you in pool games etc. but well good value for price , not posh but for what we paid was good value

"Not 4 star but ok"

6.0

Pool area is loverly defo not 4star tho rooms basic beds r hard but we just used room to stay in , food is not great , staff speak little English, so communication was hard and no snacks on snack bar advertised only ice cream, shop on site has a loverly lady who works there , , jacuzzi wasn't open , gym was a treadmill and few other bits , the best part is by far the pool area only thing 4 star about it , not lit up from outside so wouldn't know it was there if driving past , reception and games are very dated , local bars not too far away. Or short taxi or bus ride away

"Would Totally Stay Here Again"

10.0

Really liked staying on Tsokkos Paradise Village! The whole experience was smooth and enjoyable from start to finish. Our room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable — it truly felt like a home away from home. What stood out the most, though, was the staff. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful, and genuinely welcoming, which made a big difference. It’s a perfect hidden gem — peaceful, well-kept, and close enough to everything without being right in the middle of the noise. We’d happily stay here again!

"Good budget hotel"

8.0

We booked this as a last minute break. We arrived and it was very quiet. Started to get busier towards the end of our weeks stay. Rooms are dated, but clean and the staff are friendly. I would say 3 star hotel - you get what you pay for. Food wasn’t the best- breakfast and lunch were ok- dinner was always cold. But again, standard started to pick up as it got busier. Entertainment is quite basic and probably more for young children. We found it quite a friendly place though . Nissi beach is pleasant 10 min walk away, Ayia napa took us about 45 mins. Quiet location but suited us. All in all a lovely break away.

"Lovely family break"

10.0

We spent a fantastic week at paradise Bungalows in Ayia Napa with our two kids (ages 7 and 10), and it was just what we needed for a relaxing family holiday. The bungalows are tucked away in a quiet spot, about a 5-minute walk to Nissi Beach, which was perfect for the kids with its shallow waters. The bungalow was cozy and clean, with a small kitchenette that was handy for snacks and a shaded patio for evening card games. The air conditioning worked well, though the Wi-Fi was a bit slow at times. The pool was a big hit – clean, with a kids’ section and plenty of sunbeds, though you had to claim them early. The kids loved the daily activities organized by the staff, like treasure hunts, and the evening BBQs were a nice touch, with great souvlaki and fresh salads. The food at the snack bar was decent, but we wished there were more vegetarian options. The staff were warm and welcoming, especially Anna at reception, who gave us tips for family-friendly spots in Ayia Napa. The nearby bus stop made it easy to visit the WaterWorld Waterpark, which was a highlight for the kids. Our only gripe was the occasional noise from nearby bars in the evenings, but it wasn’t too disruptive. Overall, paradise Bungalows is a great pick for families wanting a laid-back, sunny getaway. We’re already planning to come back!
