Opera Hotel

Excellent customer service in all regards. This is a slightly older property but it is well maintained. The shower is hard to enter and exit, so I would not stay there if this is a potential issue.

Beware of extra charge of 25 euros per day if you have another person in the room where there is already a second bed!! Also $40 per day taken off your credit card as a "deposit", returned at the end of your stay, but kind of creepy. Remnants of Soviet style coerciveness. Be sure to get a superior room. Breakfast is outrageously expensive in the hotel, but great food is plentiful in Kiev. Scrupulously clean, well-run, and well-located.

Centrally located, quiet place. Large, comfortable rooms. Great lobby area for meetings etc.

I have stayed at the Opera 3 times in the past 18 months and what makes me return is the level of customer service i have received. The receptionists are friendly people and i believe the mans name was ..... i want to say Ivan was very helpful. I contacted them about try to have a certain facing room and the duly provided. The lobby is beautiful, the food is good and the rooms are clean.

Opera Hotel is a very nice hotel, but I’ve also stayed at the Palace Hotel which has a better location and is a nicer hotel. Just Sayin!!

Overall, The people are great. Whoever does the hiring should be rewarded. Felt cared for and cared about. Beds are super comfy. It's like a more discreet fairmont. Food is above standard, service is epic, good water pressure.

The service was first class! They couldnt have been more helpful or friendly. Our only issue which spoilt it a little was the temperature of the room.....it was too warm for us but at this time of year with a window open, it was freezing! 3 nights of very little sleep but having said that, the bed was comfortable and the room very clean.

Good location, friendly staff, big rooms. There is also a bar where you can have a cigar if you like. Breakfast is standard american breakfast, but with large variety of omelettes they can make for you. Service is fast and not pushing.

I always stay at the Opera Hotel when I'm in Kiev. It's quiet and peaceful and the staff is wonderful. So helpful and friendly. It feels like home to me.
