Excellent location for centre of Kiev; hotel lived up to expectation with a large and comfortable room and specific personal service for all issues. I did not eat at the hotel and so cannot rate the food. The bar and terrace was pleasant overlooking the main street, albeit a touch small. Overall a splendid hotel for Kiev.

Property is terrible and a rip off. I booked king bed, I arrive to a single bed and very tiny room. Total for 2 nights $500. I said no I booked for king. Thy say I’m alone I get a single. I had to pay an additional $100 per night for a king so now $700 and won’t let me cancel room.

I have been to Kiev at least four (4) times since the beginning of the year (2018). Each time I stay at the Opera Hotel. The hotel is conveniently located and provides exceptional service. I see no reason to change. It has a very beautiful interior and helpful staff. On my first visit, one of the bell boys went and purchased a SIM card for me and helped me get it working on my phone. The only improvements I would recommend is not turning off the power in the room when you leave the room. You need to insert your room key to turn on the power (including the lights), but if the power turns off when you remove the room key, you cannot leave your devices charging. It would also help if they increased the amount of closet space in some of the rooms. I am sure that I will continue to stay at the Opera Hotel. I really like it there.

Every aspect of the stay was excellent. Couldn't ask for anything better at the Opera Hotel. Their assistance was amazing. Thank you to all at the only Hotel worthy of this praise. Sincerely, Jim

It was my first visit to Kiev and Opera was a great base to explore from. Only grouse was the bed it was way too hard (and I travel a lot). I complained at the concierge desk but the guy (in retrospect the bell boy) made no comment. When I checked out I mentioned the bed issue to which the guy on the check out said if only we had known we could have got a topper for your mattress...*!*! What can you say.

Nice quality at all. Staff is great and ready for good service. Recommend to everyone
