Fontana Village Resort & Marina

Enjoyed our stay. . Zac the bartender was great. He was working the coffee bar and the regular bar and was doing a great job.

Only problem we had was tv wouldn't work, I didn't reach out for any help though.

Be aware… On the telephone, I was quoted $140 per night. Ultimately, I was charged $220 per night. My $240 weekend turned out to be $440. Had I known this in advance, I would not have come. My space was clean, but a dump. Lots of visible wood rot and rust and gerry rigged “repairs”. Very cheap linens and supplies. Rude and dismissive check-out staff. Know what you’re getting!

The bed mattress was impossibly soft to sleep on. Like trying to sleep on a bunch of marshmallows. The TV didn't work at all. The toilet flapper was leaking, causing the toilet to cycle all night long.

Grounds are beautiful. Buildings are taken care off but in need of remodeling as they are aged. Plenty of parking for truck and trailer. Housekeeping is not every other day as stated. It is nonexistent. The app they use for tv is horrible. Glitches frequently, kicking you out of what you are watching. It signs you out and you have to submit a ticket for a tech to come out and enter a password.

Beautiful resort with so many activities offered . My husband and I went for the weekend with some friends and had a blast. From pontoon boat rides, arcade, putt putt golf , swimming, lazy River , fantastic restaurants and hiking trails to explore we had a fun filled relaxing weekend. The resort is magical with the most friendly and helpful staff who genuinely care about your experience.

The property was basic, but had great views of the smokies. Our room had plumbing issues the toilet was slow to flush and the tub wouldn’t drain while showering we had to stand in a tub of water.
