Will be back!!!

The keys didn't work on the first attempt, so we had to drive back to front desk to get new ones. Once in the room, we noticed the shower curtain was missing. We had to drive back for the second time to the front desk to get shower curtains and hang them up ourselves. The floor was tiled and was wet, like it was damp mopped, but never dried. We reported, but weren't moved to a new room, despite open rooms available. The hotel appeared very runned down. Do not recommend

It's a nice place but a little difficult for someone in a wheelchair.

Every staff member I encountered was so nice and helpful. The area is beautiful and worth a visit. Accommodations were a bit dated but they are currently updating. Onsite restaurants were good.

The property is great. The landscaping and flowers are beautiful. The people here are very friendly and nice. We are up and going and getting ready for our clogging competition!!!! Wish us LUCK!!!! Thanks for helping us get a better rate on our stay!!!!

The 11/2 days we were there were ok. It was checkin that was an issue. In the end it seems to have been an issue between Fontana & Hotels.com a Hoels. Com k

No signal no signal no signal !!$ unbelievable inconvenience…

We left after being here for 1 hour. The reservation was made in May. We have 4 kids and asked for a 3 bedroom. The lady said she would take care of it. We get there and they put us in a 2 bedroom. We asked for a change. The lady at the front desk said nothing available. The place did not appear full. The changed the location of the check in desk but no clear directions on where. That frustrated me as well. We then said fine we will make the best of it. We walked in the room and it had a terrible smell. There were ants everywhere. I was afraid to put anything down on the floor. The cabin had shag carpet. Just terrible accommodations for 2000 a week. We went to the pool and everything seemed aged and not maintained. My wife went to the lodge and the AC was out. No one seemed to be working there. We asked for a golf cart rental. They said we do not book in advance. But when we got there they said sorry all rented out. She mentioned the owners were here and they took all of them for themselves. My wife and I chatted and said no way are we staying a week here. We went to the front desk and asked for a refund. She immediately checked us out and said sorry. No trying to accommodate us with a newer refurbished cabin that we clearly were not put in. No calling the owner to get us to stay. Do not book here! The lodge was not maintained and even sitting outside to look at the views the chairs do not seemed to be maintained and cleaned. We packed up and drove over an hour to Sapphire Valley resort and rented an Air B and B. We paid about $500 more for the week but my wife and kids are not enjoying the vacation. I also witnessed the lady at the front desk deal with two other upset customers and nothing was resolved. She with her attitude will not help your business. I will tell everyone I know just go to Sapphire Valley and drive to the Dragon’s Tail. Do not try to stay here. The pool was nice and the views are breathtaking but the resort stinks and you will be disappointed

It is an older property with dated furnishings, but it was clean and quaint. The restaurant was very good, and reasonably priced. The internet worked pretty well, and I rather enjoyed the lack of cell signal. The WIFI was there if I really needed to connect. We sat on the small lanai with a beautiful view drinking wine we got from the on-site store. It was as perfect as you can get.
