Sunstays Lagoon Beach

We arrived at the facility around 18h00 on friday 9/7/2011 . We tried to shower and discovered that the hot water was switched off at the main electric board in thr room . Called reception and was advised that it would take approx 30 mins . 1 hour later we still had no hot water . We left at 20h30 without the offer of another room .

Stayed at this facility many times very good srvice and excellect location

This hotel was disappointing - dingy and not worthy of 4 stars.

Quiet, convenient, safe, and very family friendly. Hotel is 10-15 min easy drive to V&A waterfront. Very nice beach that is not crowded---would stay there again. .

The location of Sunstays is wonderful. It is easy to get to the waterfront, table mountain, just about wherever we wanted to go. It looked exactly like the picture - beautiful - gorgeous view of the ocean from the living room and one of the bedrooms. Two bathrooms even! Would totally recommend it and hopefully we get to stay there again sometime!

It was stated that the Apartments were 4 star, this in my opion was not the case, as not all the items in the kitchen were available on checking in. Certain items were were brocken. The location was very good

I would recommend this place to anyone. If you plan to be in Cape Town for a fare amount of time this palce is perfect. It's an apartment, and NICE! The beach is beautiful with amazing views of Cape Town!

We very much enjoyed our stay. Nice size 2 bedroom apartment on the beach at a reasonable cost. Easy to get to by car. Three restaurants on the premises. Zorba's and the Thai restaurant were very good. Didn't visit the third. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

We arrived super early and checked in at 10am. The staff were helpful and sorted our room in under 20 minutes. The2bedroomed roomy self catering apartment is excellent value and has all amenities. A flatscreen tv would have been a plus as the tv was a little dated. We got a great beach/lagoon view. The venue is clean, modern, safe and has a spectacular rooftop pool - only thing missing is a bar to enjoy sundowners :-)

Pro - We had a lovely stay. The apartment was very nice and spacious. We had a lovely seaview and felt very secure in complex. The location was good app 10 km from V&A waterfront but away from all the hustle and bustle. Con - The kitchen was not very well equiped, just the basic utensills, that was a bit of a drag since it is selfcatering. The biggest drag was that there is no braai facilities and since we are from South Africa that was real bad. Had a nice stay with teh family.
