Stardust Motel Azusa

Had a good night rest.

Wonderful room. Had a room w a mirror above the bed. Just lovely.

Not happy with the cleanliness of the room. The rop blanket was disgusting with stains all over it. Pillow waa dirty felt extremely uncomfortable staying there not worth what we paid at all

Asked me to check in 5 pm. And unkind . Not clean

Room was not what I expected and the desk was really uptight and made me feel completely unwelcomed. They did nothing except threaten me with a police call if they saw even one person enter my room despite my reservation being for 2 people. They would not give me back my deposit either if they felt like someone else was in room. I was so excited for my stay but became so anxious that I wanted to leave when a friend came to deliver me food. I had to tell them to go and call my fiance and tell him to forget our plans. I just couldn't get out fast enough. Also bathroom was huge but water was everywhere and bed was stiff.

This place was the worst stay I've ever had. And it was entirely preventable. The Staff are rude argumentative and ignorant. They demand a $50 cash deposit but REFUSE to give a receipt or any proof of deposit and try shady arguments to try to keep it. They initially gave us a room that had not been cleaned, they could not accommodate my partially paralyzed brother by giving us a downstairs room and there was a wasp problem on the balcony. I could continue to complain, but it just better to STAY AWAY

Location, near downtown Azuza and APU, shopping and eats.

The good points of this hotel is it's location (next to APU) and it was clean. The AC/Heater unit worked well too. If that's all you're looking for, you got it. However, if you are accustomed to more upscale properties, this one will be an adjustment. There was no dresser in our room, or any place to hang up anything. You could borrow an iron, however, not a functioning ironing board, there were no blankets, and no hair dryer either. Management speaks to you from being bullet proof glass. They were accommodating and I believe did the best they can. Seems like the property is in the state of being repaired which is understandable. Just go in with your eyes open, and it may work for you.

The manager is rude and a thief they ask for a 50 dollar deposit and on check they refuse to return the deposit claiming you damaged the room pointing out something that was already like that I hate thes motel never stay they will rip you off

Everyone says its in a bad part of town, but I didnt see anything like that. Right across the street from Azusa Pacific University, great spot, lots of places to walk too. Will gladly stay here again!
