Amaya Hills Kandy

We had a wonderful stay at Amaya Hills Kandy and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. The hotel itself is beautiful, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere, but what truly made our stay special was the people. The staff were unbelievably friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Every member of the team went out of their way to make us feel at home. A special thank you to Chef Sadeepa and the culinary team. The food was absolutely delicious, with a fantastic variety of dishes and excellent quality at every meal. It was one of the highlights of our stay. Thank you to the entire team at Amaya Hills Kandy for such a memorable experience. We look forward to returning in the future.

Definition of ‘nothing special’. The view is amazing, but I would say it’s the only amazing part. Otherwise it is far from the city centre and the rooms are looking a bit dated. Staff are friendly. Dinner is okay here, just a buffet. Breakfast less so, cold baked beans and pineapple is a shambolic mixture not sure who on earth thought that was a great choice to make. It’s definitely tilted to families over couples, if you are a couple I’d maybe look for somewhere else for a more relaxing experience

We spent two nights at Amaya hills with the family. And it was a great experience . From the time we first arrived we felt very welcome. The hotel has an amazing view of the mountains and the place is packed with many facilities such as a gym, spa, squash court and a pool overlooking the mountains. What touched us the most was the incredible staff who were genuinely friendly and very attentive, ready to offer their assistance at every moment. From the senior management to the front office staff, restaurant stuff, security, house keeping and the team maintaining the beautiful gardens.... All we're amazing!! A big thank you to .... GM Dayan, Gayan, Dharshana, Anuruddha, Senuka, Chaminda, Mahesh and evey one else who took great care of us.

The view from the reception was breathtaking and truly felt like #PalaceInTheHills. Calming atmosphere and positive energy vibes. The hotel was iconic with many picture perfect spots. The facilities were really good specially the buffet that had a wide spread and tasted delicious. The room was quite spacious, clean and had a beautiful view. The staff was extremely friendly and professional. A big Thank you to Mr. Darshana for accomodating all our requests and Senuka for serving and being hospitable throughout. Loved the experience! Highly recomended!

Absolutely loved this place! The location is stunning with breathtaking views. The dining experience was excellent as well—great food and an amazing team who were attentive, friendly, and made every meal enjoyable. A special mention to Ayeshika at the front desk, who was very helpful. Overall, a wonderful experience with beautiful views, fantastic service.

My stay at Amaya Hills Hotel, Kandy was truly memorable. The food was delicious, offering a wonderful variety of local and international dishes. The rooms were spacious, clean, and comfortable, providing a relaxing atmosphere. The breathtaking scenery surrounding the hotel, with its lush green hills and panoramic views, made the experience even more special. The combination of excellent hospitality, great food, and stunning natural beauty makes Amaya Hills a perfect destination for a peaceful getaway.

Stayed two nights and it was a good stay. The view was fantastic. Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. The young boy in the bar was very nice and helpful. the staff was helpful and attentive overall. There were no spoons available at the tea/coffee station on the first day. I tried to order room service around 1am after the reception told me the room service is 24/7. Then the same guy told me, no it is closed cos our occupancy is low. Now, that was a big downfall on information provided to the guests.Otherwise, the staff was nice, but they can do better with smiles. The hotel really needs a lift.

We went for my Nephew's birthday celebration on 7th June. We had Dinner and the service was excellent. Our waiter was Senuka and we are really happy and will visit Amaya Hills again
