Nice holtel close to the beach and just a short ride by taxi or tuk tuk to Patong Beach.

Once we enter the hotel, it gave me the very welcome feeling by serving welcome drink and towel. But I never saw any smiles from the front counter staff, only the bell boys gave us lot of advise and services. We had a garden view room and it spacious, but it smell dusty when we entered the room, since like long time didn’t use this room. Just got upset that 4 star hotel don’t provide toothbrushes for guest, i forgotten to bring mine hence asked from the front counter and was gaven a cold shoulder - she said is normal that Hotel don’t provide toothbrush... made me lookso cheap... The towel was horrible as my kid found chewing gum on it.... One of my trip to potong using their free shuttle bus was terrible experience, was very crowded and they packed us like sardines.. it so dangerous and no safety prevention. All overall I won’t come back to this resort again, there better one out there.

Initially in garden room which had issues, but was immediately rectified by manager. Upgraded for a small cost and was extremely happy with everything. Staff were amazing, very respectful, polite and always obliging. I loved every day I was there and would definitely recommend Horizon Karon Beach to anyone. Unable to comment of regular rooms but our upgrade to the Privilage wing was definitely worth it. Room was bigger and better, our own pool for adults only and happy hour with free nibbles, coffee or drinks was a really nice touch and made us feel like VIP guests for our whole holiday. Very relaxing and enjoyable. Wished we were there longer just so we can enjoy the pool and beautiful beach just down the road more often. Thank you Horizon for making us feel so special.

I couldn't speak more highly of our stay at Horizon Karon. The staff were amazing, so friendly and helpful. The facilities were great, a little dated, but still in great condition and very well looked after. The gardens were immaculate and the pool area is a lovely central hub in the hotel. Great breakfasts in the morning too, friendly staff, very attentive and delicious fresh food. You must try their spa, I had one of the best facials there, the staff are lovely and true professionals. The location is great too, a great spot on Karon Beach right at the bottom of the hill - the walk up can be a bit tedious, however they do offer the shuttle to and from the beach upon request, which is amazing, no other hotel offered us this service. I would definitely stay at Horizon Karon again and recommend it to anyone!

The resort had lots to do with an adults only area. The adults only area has a lounge and pool. The beach is just down the hill; they offer a free tuktuk ride down to the main strip then it’s a few mins to the beach. The breakfast was good with lots of variety.

This is a very good hotel and I would definitely go back. The hotel has two pools and we decided to upgrade by choosing the adults only area. The benefits included lunchtime nibbles and a small choice of alcoholic drinks (not beer!!!) at lunchtime but also, tea,coffee and soft drinks all day until 8pm. The rooms are kept very clean and the breakfast spread each morning is huge! They do spray insecticide once a week (and give a warning as to when it is going to be) but we felt that it should be done 2/3 times a week, especially around the pool area as there several areas of standing water which definitely attracted some biting things!! The hotel is at the top of a short but steep hill but they do provide a courtesy tuc tuc up until 9pm if you can't or don't want to walk up or down it. There is also a courtesy bus in to Patong if you fancy a day out and the last one is quite late, around 11pm I recall.

Hotel could use a little update now, is good for the $$. Be prepared to walk up and down the hill, as it is a steep one. Although close to the beach and shops the tuk tuk doesn't always come and pick you up. Other than that, pretty decent hotel and staff is friendly and accommodating.

We stayed as a family of four for 12 days / 11 nights. From the moment we arrived until the time we departed we were treated exceptionally well. Check in was smooth and pleasant despite it being late at night. Our room was a little small for a family but we knew this when we booked. Although it was cluttered for the duration of our stay it was adequate. Overall it was comfortable enough with two double beds, a mini bar, safe and good sized bathroom. Lighting in the room was quite dim which made looking through suitcases for items a little frustrating, but with open curtains during the day it wasn't such a problem. The pool area was great for adults and kids alike and the swim up bar was very popular. The daily buffet breakfast had a great selection and dinners in the restaurant offered great variety. The gym was well equipped and not busy at any time. It was well air-conditioned and perfect for an early morning workout. The hotel location is also handy to Kata and Karon beaches, shops and restaurants. The location was also quite central for daily excursions throughout Phuket. Hotel staff were outstanding and this was be the highlight of our stay. All were very pleasant, thorough and attentive. Special mention must go to Jam who was especially friendly. Our kids loved her (as we did too) and she made our holiday more fun, friendly and enjoyable! Thank you Jam - you're a real gem!
