Grand Hotel Hermitage & Villa Romita

We stayed at the villa away from the main hotel which was much more of an 'italian' feel. Villa was clean and had amazing views from the balcony and sun terrace. needs some TLC and furnishings could do with an update but everything worked, shower was great and honestly you're only there to get changed and sleep so what more do you need. Breakfast was plentiful - liked the fresh fruit. (Need bigger cups for tea though)! All the staff were AMAZING .Cleaning staff were diligent. Lady at reception was SUPER helpful showing us how to get a bus into town when it was outside of the shuttle bus hours. Many thanks to her as it made our holiday go with ease and apologies I cant recall her name. Its a short stroll into St Agata where there is a handy shop for snacks and a few restaurants if you dont want to go into Sorrento. Parking at villa was easy too.

We stayed in the GHH for a week on half board basis and were not disappointed. From arrival to departure the wonderful staff were so friendly and helpful in every way. Our room was in the 4th floor with a balcony and had the best view of the Bay of Naples and Sorrento! Our room was traditional but very comfortable and was serviced every day with fresh towels. Breakfast was buffet style and the croissants were delicious! Evening meals were fabulous with a choice of starters and mains and of course the enticing sweet trolley. Excellent waiter service and lovely meals. We booked our trips through GHH and visited Capri from the lovely port of Nerano, had the most wonderful guided trip to Pompeii and enjoyed the Due Golfi train trip around Sant’ Agata. The staff at reception booked everything and explained pick up and drop offs! The shuttle bus to and from Sorrento was excellent too! Would highly recommend this fabulous hotel. Thank you! 😊

This is a special hotel , staff can’t do enough for you . Is outside of Sorrento on hill however hotel provides shuttle bus and bus stop just outside hotel, never struggled with getting around Fantastic village sant Agata 10 minute walk from hotel bars with restaurants and Orlando must visit . . Manage to do Capri, Positano, Pompei and Sorrento all from this location . Only negative for me was bed too hard .

Staff were very friendly and helpful and the hotel is excellent with stunning views. The courtesy bus into Sorrento was very useful.

Lovely stay in this quiet hotel for our anniversary, massive room with the most special sea view stretching across the bay of naples. We slept very well except as usual in hotels disturbance by the cleaners early in the morning, the shutters were fab keeping the light out, the walk into sant agata was lovely on an evening for dinner. It would have been nice to have a cooking station to have an omelette for breakfast, there was a lot of cake choice but it was the same every morning, I did enjoy the ham and cheese selection with a boiled egg! Water in the fridge only on day 1 I feel this should be daily as in most hotels they provide water or at least a water fountain, these are constructive criticism and maybe a thought for the owners to implement. Having the courtesy bus was a blessing and all in all a fabulous stay we will definitely recommend the hotel to others.
